Are they still in business? I placed an order on Jan 5 for a sample and nothing. I got no answer when I called. Sent an email that I'm sure won't be replied to. What's their deal?

Edit: I need to retract my comment about not getting a reply to my email as I got one within about 10 minutes. It was a nice apology and explanation (expanding their clean room facilities, etc.). No update on when, but said they are doing what they can to get my order out ASAP.

They're notoriously slow for shipping and tend to make excuses when asked about it (not saying their expansion story is fictional, it's likely true and that's a good thing they're expanding). I just say that to prep you that the long wait is NOT a one time thing. Every order I place takes at least 2 weeks to get to me.

A non-issue for me, as the quality is unbelievable. Very reputable, reliable vendor and A+ nicotine. But the wait turns a lot of people off.

I agree with Sloth Tonight, the quality is unbelievable but the wait is crazy. IF they would post online that the wait time may exceed 14 days and we knew ahead of time what to expect, would be a better practice to me. But that would put some people off too my order took over two weeks and I've read some peoples wait was up to a month.

So many company's out there are super fast and we begin to expect that everywhere but in the end the wait was worth the product received!

Interesting. I ordered from HiLiq in China and got it in in Ohio in like 5 days. If NN’s stuff is that good it would be worth the wait though; not a fan of the hiliq stuff.

I have another on order (125ml from xtreme). I was told by VT that their nic finally got past the FDA and will be in stock soon, so may try that also.

I placed an order Jan. 4th and haven't received yet. They formulate each order as it arrives, so requires patience. Your reply is good info, thanks. I've dealt with them for over 2 years and been pleased.

I too consider Jake's products the best of the best. I have been buying base (VG/PG) from him for almost 3 years, 5-6 at a time in 1 liter bottles. Early on I also tried some of his flavor concentrates, really liked some of them (but make them myself now). His lab gear prices are great too. I tend to place larger orders so the free shipping is another bonus as heavy as my packages typically are.

As said, orders are mostly filled in order, and that can mean long delays during typical peak times and when they run sales. Chris is often overwhelmed as well trying to keep customers up to speed on their orders. Just part of the pains of making an already great company bigger, better and staying on the cutting edge of the technology. That makes the wait a lot easier for me to live with.

I have a bigger cold storage area now, so plan to place an order soon for 10 one liter bottles (8VG/2PG) and 2-3 dozen more 120ml amber Boston bottles. Along with what I already have on hand my DIY will be set for a long time.

Just got my sample from NN and a 120ml bottle from Xtreme. Haven't mixed with them yet, but first impression:

Color: Hard to compare very well because of different packaging. The Xtreme looks perfectly clear in a pipette, but pale yellow when looking into the white, plastic bottle it came in. The NN looks clear with just a slight pale yellow tint when looking at it in the sample vile.

Smell: They smell pretty similar—both have a "nutty" smell. I would say the NN smells more like the HiLiq where the Xtreme just has a lighter, "cleaner" smell to it.

Going to mixing some with both and will update.

I've seen a lot of both love and hate for NN but decided to go with them for my first ever nicotine purchase. At just 6% what I received is harsh and peppery, absolutely kills my flavors, and is almost unvapable. Pretty disappointing.

@KgKinerd We have the best in the world liquid nicotine right here in Carolina. I've tried most of the rest and nicsalts and it's even smoother than the salts, with no flavor. They are mostly a wholesale supplier but still supply the diyer and a pleasure to do business with.

@rob33 Yea I just today found out about them on another thread! A bit expensive but I'm definitely gonna try them next. Not really a big deal if it ups my daily vaping cost from 50 cents to 75 cents. Being NC based is a huge plus.

Just based on the smell, I have a feeling the NN is going to be pretty harsh.

I mixed a small batch with the Xtreme and it seems pretty smooth. Has a little bit of a throat hit, but pretty tasteless so far. Also possible the throat hit is from the flavorings since I didn't steep it at all.

I have another batch I'm going to try today and will report back.
