The numbers were supposed to be lower in the tube but the machine shop did not follow the drawings ??? so they ended up higher than we wanted , the Led is designed to be a backlight in the dark , try it at night it looks cool , it ws not designed to be like the Buzz that could be used as a night light .

The white line on the wheel is the center position and will be around 4.5 volts +/- .2 volts .

I saw someone else mention the LED and OK, I'm still a newbie, but I didn't get this idea that a PV should double as a flashlight at all. Isn't it a power indicator and a battery charge indicator? I don't see that as a negative at all. I get the point that the Buzz has a freakin bright LED, but... if you need a flashlight... why not get one? LOL... maybe I'm just being a wise azz, but using a PV to illuminate things is not a design goal for a PV, is it?

It just isn't high on my list of important things for a small VV PV. The voltage thing I get. Not the flashlight thing. I'm not trying to be critical, it's just... a flashlight?

Nom the light on the infinity isn't for anything but a back light to see the dial at night. Unlike the Buzz that has the battery level incorporated into it (the infinity doesn't). If they would have machined it right you would be able to see the numbers. If my top cap ever comes loose I plan to remedy that but if it doesn't become loose I won't mess with it because seeing the numbers isn't that important to me..

You can see them from the side , it is hard but you can see them , the white line is your friend .

I have my pot company working on a new pot wheel that will have blu/wht/red lines on it so the closer to the blu the lower it is , closer to the red the higher it is . I think this will be an easy visual way to see where you are set in the future .

We had 5 Beta testers try this device before we went into production and these things really did not come up so we have a list of changes that we will implement in later runs .

Well, I am sort of speaking out of turn, as I have just ordered an Infinity, I haven't seen one yet. The flashlight thing, well, that was actually from another poster in another thread. But it stuck with me... he was not happy that the Infinity LED didn't double as a flashlight as it does (poorly) on the Buzzx. Just struck me as a very odd complaint.

I should probably keep these thoughts to myself until my Infinity arrives and I use it personally. Sort of shooting my mouth off since I don't even have one in my possession yet. I do that sometimes... :yapping::blush:

Nah I think it was a valid thought NoM

Dysfoundation trust me in a week you wont care about numbers. The white line will tell you everything you need. I can guess within a quarter volt every time where im at on the wheel just by where my white line is. If I cant see the white line Im probably vaping out of my happy range :p

I haven't even tried to see the numbers, simply because even with my glasses I have a hard time reading the directions on the back of food packages. I knew that was going to be a lost cause eye wise before I ordered it. I dial it by feel, slightly lower than the white mark for attys and slightly higher than the mark for cartos and it's working fantastic.

If I were to ask for anything, it would be that the wheel and button placement in regards to the distance from the top cap were reversed, but let me stress that that's just me. I have a lot of muscular weakness from a thyroid problem and the extra length of the unit can be tiring on the hand. I had gotten into the habit of using my thumb for the button on the Rivas though, and may be able to alleviate this by switching to my index finger.

We are taking into account issues like this Storm ! many of our customers are slightly older and We have to take this into account .
When I started I did not consider it ( I did not think that many vapers were older ! ) now we do so any feedback like this is helpful in the designs we make .
THanks !

Nom, I'm sorry. I didn't mean for that to be taken that way. I was just letting you know in case you thought it was like the Buzz on the led. You should say whats on your mind in this forum because no one is better than anyone else here. We're all in this thing together and everyone and their thoughts and ideas are important.
Please accept my profound apology. I am extremely sorry this came out the way it did. If anyone should keep their big mouth shut it's me.
I saw the flashlight thread too and like you I thought it was odd. Please don't be upset.

Feel free to yap all you want NoM, the rest of us sure do :)

Storm I'm with you on the poor old eyes. If I have to read directions in small print, even my script reading glasses don't cut it...I just hand it over to hubby to read to me LOL!

Little OT rant of my own...MIL gave Kev and me a gift cert for Applebee's so we went out to eat tonight. The waitress was a cutie, knew about e-cigs and told me it was fine if I used mine so I whipped out my Buzz. There were very few people in there since it's a rainy Monday night and no one near our booth. After about 10 minutes of happy vaping, along comes our waitress, head down with apologies and tells me the manager said I couldn't vape :( Oh well, maybe I should have used an inferior e-cig that doesn't create massive clouds! It's hard to stealth a Buzz

5C, LOL my friend, not at all upset! It didn't come across wrong at all, and I was not in the least bit offended! Reading your post I was surprised that you even thought I was the tiniest bit offended, not at all the case.

Now, I will repeat... I do sometimes yap too much! That was not in response to anything you said, it's fact. That was isolated self commentary, and not in response to anything you said. You didn't say anything that was remotely offending. We're cool!

I still think I am in no position to comment on the Infinity, I haven't used one yet. That will soon be remedied! Yeah boy! :vapor:

No need to walk on egg shells around this grizzled old Irishman. If you get me PO'd, you'll KNOW it! :-x:party:

I have V4L cards, and I might have placed it in a very uncomfortable place on that manager's anatomy! I would have insisted he come over in person. I would have blown some vapor right up his.... nose! OK, I'm not quite that crazy, but I would not have stopped. I certainly would have pressed the issue. I've had enough of being forced outside. They better get used to it. We are here to stay, and we won't be social outcasts for it. If that means I cause a scene or two, fine. I'd be likely to write a letter to Apple Bees corporate too.

NY is trying to ban E cigs. I will fight, and be willing to go to jail for it. You could I suppose, call me an E Cig Nazi! I'm an ex-smoker, and they won't be pushing this stubborn old Irishman around anymore. I've had enough of that. I'm pushing back now.

See what I mean 5C? You'll know when I'm ......! LOL!

Dammit! I have ECF cards in my purse...why didn't I think to give the manager one? Funny thing was the waitresses all knew what a PV was and all thought it was fine. There are some places around where it's not an issue so I'll take my business elsewhere. Besides, it wasn't a good night to have a show down since my dog was at the groomer and they close at 9pm!

Ha Mike, that's a good idea too...medical inhaler :)

Well I just don't want to offend anyone. When I get mad all hell comes loose but I get over it quick.

An Inhaler, that's brilliant Mike. Now that I think of it you can't have lighters either. I don't see that CC Bldg. too much. The hardest part is finding parking closer than 5 mi. away.

Bovinia, what you take the dog to the groomer and not the cow? Thats presidium.

Naw 5C, it's not presidium...it's just that I'm too lazy to do his hair cuts myself LOL!

I'm the same way, when I get mad everyone within a 10 mile radius knows...but it blows over pretty fast. I didn't make a stink tonight because it embarrasses the hubby when I get pissy in public...it ain't ladylike. Pfftt, 7 years married and he still thinks I'm a LADY?!?!

Bov I was in the Waffle House the other evening when I encountered the same dang thing...I've pulled Mike's trick several times.....It's an inhaler.....for my ...-MAH.....At that point I did start laying hell on the Buzz.....Coffee and cig...oops...Coffee and Vapor....AHHHHHHHHH.!! You did the right thing Missy...These PVs are less addictive {IMO} after the other toxins are out of your system...I do however chain vape constantly....but.....I find that if I lay it down due too whatever's happening I just don't get the urge too kill for Nic.....

And I thought you were the ---------------------------------------

COOK ! LOL

Whew you are full of it tonight LMAO!

Dee, I choose my battles wisely...or at least more wisely than I used to! There are plenty of ways to fight for our vaping rights but the only impact tonight would have had was a $40 gift card going to waste...and I was hungry :)
