How about less wattage and a tight drawing atty.
Have the same issue with my wife. Doesn't matter the flavor... She can't hit my kayfun, with a 2.2 ohm coil and VV mod set to 3.2v. Too much air.... But she has no problem with the same mod at 5volts and a Protank with 1.8ohm or a 1.6ohm nautilus. I make 70pg/30 12-15mg juice for her.

Lot of good advice here ...can I add a thing we used to recommend on the pipe forums for people switching to pipes from cigarettes - sit down, take your time, take a slow draw maybe counting to 4 or 5 slowly while you do so, hold it in your mouth and savour the flavour, let it out ever so slowly through your nose watching the smoke/vapour dissipate into the air watching the patterns it makes; repeat for up to 10 minutes working slowly and deliberately...you/she should be more than satisfied by that stage.

Personally I don't really think we re/were addicted to nic - we are/were addictd to the Activities of Smoking

Yeah, that's what I was getting at with the mouth hits. There's a great sticky in the new members forum about inhalation techniques.

I do notice a lack of nicotine when I don't have it though. I usually vape 12mg, but I have some 6mg as well, and when I use that I find myself vaping a lot more.

She likes clove! What's a good brand that has the eugenol in it?

I got mine locally in CT, but check BootlegVapor. They have a big warning on it which makes me think it contains it. It's cheap enough where a 30ml is a good sample. Completely customizable budget juice, and you could even add a shot of Koolada, or menthol to it if you so desire.

I know GrimmGreen also has a video from a while ago about another brand that he claims it's quite authentic. I'll message you some links if that's okay. I'm just on my mobile right now and don't have my bookmarks.

Yep, and the other alkaloids -- those MAOIs are quite addictive! Just replacing the nicotine doesn't replace those; you need WTA for that.

It's a different type of throat hit alright. My first ever puff nearly flipped my toenails upwards.
Took me a day or three to get used to it. Word has it that BT puts cough suppressants in their products.

Numbing anything - not sure about it: If she has sensitivity to PG ( rare but not unheard of ) it's better to know about and adress it beforehand.

If she really can't get to grips with it, PEG400 ( aka Macrogol ) instead of PG might do the trick.

No suggestions for a proper clove e-liquid? Clove liquid (when done right) will have a greater numbing effect than any menthol I have tried with less effort. I used to smoke those Djarum Black 'cigars' and they would always numb my whole mouth. Has a much different flavor than menthol, but it may do the trick.

As noted in another post TFA clove has the real deal in it. and is quite strong. I make it DIY from time to time, Numbs My lips instantly. If I recall I mix at less than 5%.

There is a whole lot of truth to that. Most likely the only reason I took to vaping so fast is it felt so much like smoking. No other nic replacement did it for me.

Thanks everybody! Yes, PM ,e those links, post them here in the thread for others to enjoy.

She's got some WTA juice too. That REALLY makes a cough fest' happen! I know, too, for I still use WTA in the mornings. I'm down to one IGO-W of 1% WTA.

She should NOT use WTA until/unless she knows that plain nicotine won't keep her off cigarettes -- because withdrawing from WTA is just as hard as withdrawing from cigarettes, AND, until she actually IS off cigarettes, then WTA is utterly pointless, she won't feel the difference at all.

Ditto that! Patches just gave me heart palpitations, but didn't do diddly for my cravings for a smoke! After 20+ yrs on ultra-lights, nic really isn't that big a deal to me -- but just the action, THAT's the big deal that I just can't live without. Vaping FEELS like smoking, and that's what really counts! :thumb:

Now if I could just finally get rid of this last 1% of WTA... SOON!!!!
