When I take a drag I get a lot of juice in my mouth. Any ideas?

Yeah. That's enough cotton for probably 6 of my attys.

Common mistake, it's all good. Your wick should be a tiny piece and you should be able to freely pull it through your coil back and fourth.

Let me snap a pic of my Nuppin wick setup. You'll see I barely have any and works great.

You should be able to see most of your deck of the atty, even with dual coils and a little base like the Nuppin.

Yep - that's a ton of cotton. Hard to tell from the photos, but it looks like you're getting some scorching - another indication that the coils are being choked by all the wicking material.

My personal theory is that juice will travel up the top cup and eventually into the dt and your mouth if you got "good" contact of the wick to the top cap, which would certainly be the case with your setup.

Soooo... less wick plus keeping it away from touching the cap should help.

I'd also try having the afc wide open so that you are not labouring with the draw (i.e., sucking strongly).

^^^ What Papa said ^^^

Poor picture quality, so can only guess, but it looks like you are using WAY, way too much cotton.... and the coils are WAY too high. Your coils look like the bottom of them may even be ABOVE the AFC slots, which could be putting that much cotton in contact with the top of the cap/bottom of the drip tip. Lower the coils and less cotton would be needed to carry the joose, keep it away from the drip tip. Refer to the picture from pdib I posted in the Nuppin' thread of how to make the coil (on page 1)... and with the down leg (negative) length shown inserted gets the coil pretty close to perfect height. From the many posts and pictures posted there showing builds, most folks position the coil centered in the AFC slot, some lower than that, but I doubt many above the slot. YMMV

I don't know about the coils being too high. Take your AFC ring off and set it on the Nuppin, Are your coils lined up so you can see the coils directly through the airhole?
I'll say I agree with everyone else. Cotton goes a very long way with wicking and it looks like way too much on yours. You should mimic what RGLP did. Your cotton looks black around the coils so I'll say it's burning your cotton too. Super X always does this thing where he can pull the cotton through with slight resistance, but the mod doesn't move along with pulling. Go to 5:20 in this video to show how super x wicks the Nuppin'

Great advice right there. I've been doing this ever since I saw X's video, and it's done wonders for my builds!

Working on it now I think I wrecked the coils I don't build so learning.

The best tip I could ever think of to give or be given myself is this: don't get frustrated, and don't be afraid to experiment. Building and wicking do take time and practice but you'll get the hang of it in no time flat and be in vape bliss. Have fun with it and play around. It's a really fun hobby.
