Nzonic v2 inconsistent firing

So my Nzonic v2 is not firing consistently anymore. It feels as if the trigger isnt making a full connection and the battery is not firing properly. I've cleaned the brass connection, adjusted the magnets on the button, and changed the battery and coil several times. Anyone else experience this and know how to fix the problem? it seemed to be firing better if I pressed on the side of the button, instead of directly in the center, if that helps diagnose the problem. Not quite understanding whats going wrong. thank you for your input fellow vapers.

I've only gotten this when:

1. My contacts get dirty

Or

2. The retaining nut on the fire button spins up... Causing the button to have a longer throw.
