Do you use the same size/spec o-ring for all your T-tips?
I currently have both drip and non-drip versions of the stainless steel whistle tips... and I just ordered a couple stainless steel wide mouth contour shorties and one delrin wide mouth contour shorty. Yeah, excessive, i know ;)... I just want to be prepared should an o-ring break.

I scavenged the forums for specs... and it seems the desired specs supposedly are
AS568A Dash Number: 009
Width: 1/16"
ID: 7/32"
OD: 11/32"
Durometer: A75 (or A90?? Is this too Hard?)

(please correct me if I am wrong)

After a little bit of hunting I found the following at mcmaster.com

• Viton® Fluoroelastomer O-Rings $5.21 for 100
• Viton® ETP Fluoroelastomer O-Rings $4.11 for 50
• Brown Viton® Fluoroelastomer O-Rings $7.18 for 100
• Military Spec Viton® Fluoroelastomer O-Rings $5.73 for 50

Which of these, if any, matches the specs of the o-rings used in Super-T tips? If none do, where can I get some back-up o-rings?

Thank you!

Thank you :)
so material (Buna or Viton) and durometer hardness (70 or 75, respectively) don't really matter then?
I thought that you preferred Viton....not really important?

ha, sometimes i overanalyze. :p

All my Ttips come with Viton, but it's a bit harder and less pliable thus making for a little tighter fit. The plus side is Viton is heat resistant to 400+F. Buna works fine though too (which, though not listed as the material type on the Home Depot/Lowes Danco brand Orings, that is what i suspect it is).
