For those of you with multiple vaping gear~
Does this ever end? The feeling that you have to keep buying all the new stuff, keep trying different flavors, different styles of mods, attys, ways to build them.....
This one gives more airflow! :w00t:
This one hits harder!!
:w00t::w00t:
This one gives more vapor!!!:w00t::w00t::w00t:
This one gives more flavor!!!! :w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t:
Sometimes I feel kind of weird grabbing five or six mods to go and vape. I think my husband sitting across from me with a lighter and a cigarette doesn't get it, and thinks I have gone off the deep end....:facepalm:
Am I alone?

You are just in denial....:lol::lol::lol:

No, seems normal for myself and I believe those around here. There are categories, to me, that I want/have explored in tying for find better flavor or clouds, or both. I cll them"

- eGo beginners
- Low end Mods
- Store bought coils
- Mid range MODs
- High end MODs
- High-end rebuilding coils
- Mechanicals
- Bottom Feeders

- RTAs
- RDAs

- Shopping for best price/qualities
- Accessories

- DIY

It seems that I have tried a lot, but not thoroughly. Cigs don't give so many options

Hope helps

Keepsmiling, I think that's why I buy tips! :laugh: Got my battery boxes and tubes I'm very happy with; and with the advent of Shark Skins can change just one box into 10 different colors. Got all the colored glasses for my ProTanks and Davides that I can mix and match with battery holders to get so many different looks! :D

Bedazzle's colorful replacement tubes for the Nautilus and Molehill Mountains handmade tips keeps me excited about getting something in the mail and curb any desire for more complicated, super duper stuff. :p

I think it's kind of like rearranging the room with your old furniture. Get a new look and feel AND decide NOT to buy NEW furniture......but you have to have furniture to begin with! :facepalm:

No you are not alone. Just try to buy selective, after reading the reviews and so on. Better to get one good more expensive atomizer than two mediocre and cheaper ones imo.

Its really interesting tought that you are the one who got the new ecig stuff insted of husband who is still on prehistoric rolling tobacco path and obviously not really interested in vaping "technology".

If you are happy with vaping, then you are doing it right! :vapor:

I think it's 'just' an extension of the reward mechanism.

We smoked (at least, the vast majority of us did) and it was rewarding in its own way. We switched to vaping, which gives us that same (and more) physical rewards plus the reward of doing 'the right thing'. Now, there's a learning curve to vaping, and mastering that provides another reward on top of all that - a sense of prowess and ability.

Smoking never made me feel capable or knowledgeable.

It also never made me feel a part of a movement or particular culture, which of course, being in here promulgates, so there's even more reward involved.

It's a compulsion loop (and we former smokers are, if anything, susceptible to compulsion): learning/experimentation --> physical reward --> sense of accomplishment --> discussion --> learning/experimentation, and so on.

People not in the loop don't get it any more than I don't get my friend who runs obsessively.

I had started a very good vaping collection but honestly, after I used the reo, I never cared to look any further or use what I had again for that matter. I found exactly what I was looking for and quite content (with vaping anyway)

Vaping is a wonderful addiction/obsession no matter how many you use or want. Just enjoy.

It certainly can end; it certainly can reduce; and I expect sometime next year I would no longer need to make significant purchases.
(until the bluetooth 'kick module' type dropin devices start coming out).
