The "try everything new" phase tapers off after a while. These days I use one type of atomizer 95% of the time and mechanicals 100% of the time. I've tried VV, VW, multiple types of atties and now I'm pretty content. I do carry theoretically unnecessary back ups with me in terms of batteries and juice but they are no burden since they sit in the center box in the car.

For those of you with multiple vaping gear~
Does this ever end? The feeling that you have to keep buying all the new stuff, keep trying different flavors, different styles of mods, attys, ways to build them.....
This one gives more airflow! :w00t:
This one hits harder!!
:w00t::w00t:
This one gives more vapor!!!:w00t::w00t::w00t:
This one gives more flavor!!!! :w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t:
Sometimes I feel kind of weird grabbing five or six mods to go and vape. I think my husband sitting across from me with a lighter and a cigarette doesn't get it, and thinks I have gone off the deep end....:facepalm:
Am I alone?

I'll let you know next month... ;)

I had started a very good vaping collection but honestly, after I used the reo, I never cared to look any further or use what I had again for that matter. I found exactly what I was looking for and quite content (with vaping anyway)

Vaping is a wonderful addiction/obsession no matter how many you use or want. Just enjoy.

It's been my understanding that it works this way for a lot of us... when you find whatever it is that provides what you consider a "perfect vape"... you tend to stop wanting to buy every new thing that comes along. At first, I was grabbed by every new clearo that I heard about, but once I got a kayfun, then a 2nd kayfun, I stopped looking at clearos completely -- I've got 6 T3S's and 2 Mini PT IIs in the back of the drawer that I may never use again, so I sure don't need anymore like that -- for me, Kayfuns kill every clearo ever made. I might get an Igo-L at some point, because I like my Igo-S, but it really *is* tiny.

I used to scope out the IBTanked website obsessively too... but now that I have a smok UDCT (which cost only $6, not $40-some), the only thing I go to the IBT site for is to order more cartos. I'll probably get another UDCT at some point, because for $6, I can afford to. And I might get one of those top-fill AGR cartotanks, because they're glass and look cool, and have the locking ring at the bottom like the UDCTs. They may be old-tech, but I *like* cartos, and I really like cartotanks with locking rings because I am an accident looking for a place to happen, and I'd really prefer to vape my ejuice, not wear it. :D

I've got 5 vv/vw mods, 1 vv, and a mech, but I still look at all those kinds of mods; I'll get a Vamo v6 at some point I'm pretty sure, there's a mech I'd really like to have called "Galileo", and next year for my 1 yr vapaversary, maybe a billet box -- but none of those future mods are a compulsion, that I feel I have to have RIGHT NOW -- I've got plenty right now. :)

Now I obsess on DIY flavors, and learning to make my own REALLY GREAT ejuice. So far I'm up to "pretty good," so REALLY GREAT can't be too far off. :D

My wife thinks I'm a bit obsessed as there's something just about every week from some vape store in the mail box :) I was the last one to quit the smokes & jump into the vaping thing. For me finding my "perfect" set up helped distract me from smoking (I lit one up after running out of juice one day almost threw up from the smell & taste). At least now we're in the house vaping together & discussing new tanks & juice plus she gets all my hand me down kangers & nautilus stuff lol! Obsessed -no just passionate about my new found hobby#

I'm one of the weird vapers who never got shinyitis much. I did progress from my first eGo-C kit through clearos, carto tanks, my first RBA, mech mods and then RDA's. I vaped a Nemesis with a Trident RDA for about 8 months straight. After that I got a Reo Grand and a RM2 RDA. I quickly bought a dual coil RDA and have been vaping this combo since March this year.

I really doubt I will be buying any hardware in the future unless something magical is developed that I want to try. If I'm still vaping by then that is. I vape nic rarely these days and when I go out for the day I don't take any gear with me. It would be really easy for me to just stop vaping now.

So I guess it all depends on the individual, but I think it's very common for people to at least slow down on trying new things after a couple of years :)

LOL I was going to post a pic of my collection, but this has me trumped.

Look at my sig - see all that money saved?! LOL - NOT! Atleast I have gear to show for it now instead of burning it up in tobacco.

My real savings is in trips to the doctor for inhaler refills and feeling better. That's priceless.

Nope. You are not alone. I feel sorry for your husband with the cancer sticks. But yes...We get this thing once it becomes a hobby. "I like the way that mod looks". "That RDA has a unique design". "That is regulated and has _____ feature". Yeah...it happens to all of us eventually. Thankfully I'm satisfied with my two mechs and my V6. I just can't seem to stop trying out new RDAs. And I like my Kayfun Lite but...I need to find something that is less picky to wick. And I don't have a box mod yet. Oh...and the Istick looks like a fun portable vape. And I could use an extra backup... :unsure:
