I guess I'm gettin' to be the weird old guy with the out of date gear. Since I got my Cana DNA30 and a herd of kayfun tanks (up to 8 now) the only new stuff I've bought was about half a liter of juice (my ADVs were 30% off). And the only shiny that I've had my eye on is a DNA40 mod, that I ain't sold on yet. And my Cana has never been up to 10 watts in the 6 months I've owned it.
A pretty sad state.

OMG!, This could mean socks and underroos for Xmas. Somethin's Got To Be Done!

You are a good candidate for a Lemo for Christmas instead of underroos :)

I may not be quite as far gone with shinyitis as you guys. I'm getting computer speakers for xmas, because the ones I have now are FRIED. I can't STAND not being able to listen to music! But, my mom usually gives me some money for xmas, so I'm starting to make [vape gear] plans for that... ;)

Yup, it's the new found hobby thing.

I did it with my jeep for 3 years (still have bigger plans for 2015 even though it's a fairly good street legal crawler at the moment... The next steps are just a bit expensive.) and doing it with vape gear also.

However, I tend to research the crap out of the different odds and ends I'm wanting and once set up, am generally content for months at a time.

Y'all are cracking me up!

I was (and probably still am) in your same quandry.... Is there something "better" out there???? After I stumbled through the cigalike phase, I loaded up with some Spinners, VV3s, and MVPs. Had a boatload of EVODs for which I learned to rebuild the heads and delved into kayfuns (clones) over the summer because "Kayfuns are awesome". I have only one of my four with which have had some moderate amount of success. Then, the Nautilus was the "amazing" tank of the minute. Got a few of them (2 full-sized and one mini). I liked the mini so much (great size and it fit well on all my rigs) that I have retired the EVODs and jumped over to PT2s (with airflow controllers and I can still rebuild those heads.) Got all the tank colors (a salute to you, Choochoogranny :) ) so I can be stylin' while I'm vaping.

I have flavor ADD, and I started DIYing, so I'd never run out of anything. However, I just noticed my tray of juice bottles now has a lot more empty space than it used to. My creativity has ebbed a bit, but I won't BUY any more juices (not even taking up apollo on their "free" juice offer).

Added a couple of tube mods, just because I didn't have any at the time. I haven't launched into sub-ohmming, but I do have my two kayfun minis configured as drippers. They're kinda fun, but I don't get them out that often.

I'm looking at a Glovari, why? Just because it looks cool and the price is reduced from its former retail price. Should I get the mini with the extension cap or the classic with the end cap? (I have all three sizes of batteries.) Do I "REALLY" need one? No. Provape even has some carto tanks for $1. I've never tried a carto tank - but if I get the Provari, I could snag a couple tanks, just to try them out....

I can only vape one rig at a time. Just because *someone" says something is better doesn't mean it's better for *me*. I want new toys, but I'm starting to appreciate that I'm not constantly shelling out money (virtually every day like I did when I was smoking.) Damn, what's a woman to do????

These pics belong to Stormy1960......I thought I had too much til I saw her stuff. Most of us probably dont have a 1/4 of all that.

As far as obsession goes- I dont know if I'd call myself that. I enjoy all aspects of vaping- But there's a fine line between want & need. At this stage I dont need anything. Now my mail carrier may want me to stop stalking him as I'm going to be doing today.

Initially a simple eGo setup is what got me to quit. It was when I got on ECF that my bank account wish I hadn't. :lol:

For those of you with multiple vaping gear~
Does this ever end? The feeling that you have to keep buying all the new stuff, keep trying different flavors, different styles of mods, attys, ways to build them.....
This one gives more airflow! :w00t:
This one hits harder!!
:w00t::w00t:
This one gives more vapor!!!:w00t::w00t::w00t:
This one gives more flavor!!!! :w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t:
Sometimes I feel kind of weird grabbing five or six mods to go and vape. I think my husband sitting across from me with a lighter and a cigarette doesn't get it, and thinks I have gone off the deep end....:facepalm:
Am I alone?

All I will say is, I'm slowing way down now...I'm a lot choosier now. :D

Yikes, now RUNNING I definitely don't understand...I think it is pretty much just painful - I can't see me getting obsessed with pain anytime soon :p

As far as I can tell, running is only useful if something is chasing you. :D

Yep I have a similar situation. I'm hopeing my four kids all give me gift cards in the form of throw away visa cards like my mother-in-law usually does. It sort of feels childish at my 58yrs to be wishing to not get any sensible gifts with only one exception, my favorite poison "harry & david co. chocolate cherries" which at least one of my kids always gives me. but anyway, I have vape gear plans too heh heh

Agreed, I have a daughter that uses her vacation time to travel various places around the country with her running friends just to participate in marathons. The last event she did was local...a relay marathon done in segments from chattanooga to nashville...she ran two seperate segments. The wife and I think she's got a few screws loose to put herself through that kind of physical abuse.

LMBO!!! I would ONLY run if something much bigger was chasing me - I can't see how people can do it (and it causes wear and tear on your joints)....running=ouch...

It doesn't have to be bigger than me. I will run if awasp is chasing me.

Gardening got me to lose my fear of wasps. My husband told me that all my dancing around was just entertainment to the wasps, and I swear I think he was right. Since I stopped dancing around, they stopped bothering me. :D Now YELLOWJACKETS on the other hand... :facepalm:
