David,Is there a time frame for the release of the obsession yet?It would be nice to see a first look like we got with the indulgence. My indulgence was one of the first run and has been a flawless performer.I am highly anticipating your next mod.

Solitary

as far as I know the manufacturer has not given a release date for the Obsession as yet.
when it is due for release , we will give you a pre-release look as we did with Indulgence.

My Indulgence was one of the prototypes from the first pre- release run,
and I agree with you, mine has also been a flawless performer.

I charge the battery for 4 hours, and the batteries are consistently lasting me for 8 hours of almost continuous vaping.

I am quite content with it.
however I can assure you all that the upgraded model is superior again.

I'm still waiting on my indulgence it finally landed at customs a couple days ago.

It's one of the first run and David was kind enough to already shipped the replacement. Even without knowing if I was one of the lucky ones to get a fully working model, that was really nice of him.

I'm planning a video review but I need to find my web cam so it might be a few days after I receive it. Or I might wait until the replacement it would only be proper to review the current model.

I can't wait to see what the Obsession looks like. The name certainly is fitting seeing I have obsession with ecigs :p

The protege is a very well built mod,I actually own two of them but the switch can be a bit tricky sometimes(old style tactile switch). One of mine has worked like a champ from day one.The other had to adjust it a bit to make it work. The threads on the unit are very small and can easily be crossthreaded so never force them,if it doesn't turn easily stop reverse repeat.Any adapters besides the one you ordered are extra $$.The protege uses the 14500 AA battery which are rated at 900 mah.The 18350 battery in the indulgence are also rated at 900 mah.Performance wise they are about equal although I beleive the 18350"s are lasting a bit longer. The indulgence has no switch issues I am aware of and you get all four adapters with the starter kit.Dollar for dollar you get more with the indulgence. The protege cannot be used at voltage higher than 3.7,with the extended cup the indulgence can be used at 6v and works super.Your protege should come with the new mechanical switch and has had mixed reviews but the people at puresmoker are good at helping when there are problems just like the folks at eastmall.

Hi TB

I am happy that the original is almost there with you, with any luck it will be, as mine, a fully working and non problematic model,

however as you say the replacements were sent out swiftly to reassure you all of our goodwill in this matter.

Yes, Yes, Yes,
please do review for us, I am dying to see all the feedback when you all get it, Indulgence is special to me,
it has a special place in my heart------
and I have to say-- I am absolutely thrilled with mine-- but I will leave it to you guys to sing the praises,--

I am totally confident --
you are gonna love it , - love it - love it !!!!!!!:w00t::w00t::w00t::thumbs:

and yes, please do wait for the current model,
this is what all buyers will receive -
so it is the one for you all to be reviewing
and is the one that I will be recommending.:)

The REAL Washington
I received my Indulgence the other day...have one adapter that is a little wonky and the KR8 adapter draws too much air but since I use mine with the 510 it's no big deal. I also have at least one new adapter coming.

I love mine! It's gold so it is real purty! Di, I have gotten a full days use out of my batteries but admittedly I don't vape much at work. But, boy, is it a juice hog!!! hahaha:w00t:

Yes, there are plenty reviews on other threads but I don't know how to link them to my posts:confused::confused::confused:!

This an excellent piece,
and very helpful indeed for our new members,

The protoge is an excellent ecig, as is witnessed by it popularity with ecf members, and by its glowing reviews,
of course it has a few problems at first, it was a new concept and a brand new initiative......and it was --IS one of the best ecigs we have to choose from.

all new products have teething problems, it is to be expected, but a good company will address the issues promptly, and give the customers good support and try to instill confidence that all be fixed and all will be well
and usually -- happily -- this is the case.

Steve at PureSmoker is a smart guy, and an excellent supplier, he cares deeply about his customers satisfaction, and strives constantly to improve his business and his products and service, you could not go wrong with a product from Steve /PureSmoker.

I Do believe that East Mall has managed to bring you all an excellent product in Indulgence,
the manufacturer has had a few delays, and we have had a few hic cups,

as I said just now, this is to be expected with all new products,
I have yet to see the new product coming onto the market that does not have a few teething problems---------

but East Mall is one of the best companies, as far as helping customers and ensuring customer satisfaction goes.

we want you to love our new Indulgence, as much as we do --
we have great confidence in it,
and I am sure you will love it when you get your new improved version.
