I just got three KangerTech EVOD chargers from Health Cabin. When I plug them in (with no battery), the light is green and remains green.

I put a battery on it and it's still green, doesn't turn to red to indicate charging, but these are also new batteries. Tired lifting the pin on the battery and nothing. The battery does blink three times when connecting, so it does indicate to me that there is a connection!

Could all three chargers be defective?

I had a charger that came with an Evod kit from Fastech that would do that.

After a while it got warm to the touch and later started meltng!

Be careful...

Your batteries may be fully charged? Use one heavily and try charging it tomorrow.
The blinking when you connected it shows that it is making a connection.
Also, make sure your battery side connection is cleaned of any juice or accumulated gunk.

That is odd. I only ever used the charger that came with the Evod starter kit, and it would be green when plugged in, and when I connected my battery the button would blink a few times then the light would turn red, and then back to green when charging. The only problems I had were that it wouldn't connect, so I'd make sure to clean the connections on both the battery and charger, and had to lift the pin a couple times, but that was it.

Can't speak on other chargers though.
