If I keep a few pre filled cartomizers in my car just in case I need a fresh carto, and it gets cold enough for the juice to freeze, what would that mean for the cartomizer? Will it thaw back out and work as normal, or would that ruin it? Same question for excessive heat from being left in summer months.

I kind of already decided not to risk it, just really curious about it now...

Gotta admit I haven't got a clue whether freezing a carto would damage it. I suppose it could, either by expansion of the liquid as it froze, or by different contraction rates in the metal componants. But I don't think you need to worry about the liquid freezing, PG is an anti-freeze after all.

But npw I'm curious, so I'm putting a couple cartos in the freezer.

This is why Leaford is the scientist/designer/engineer who develops these things, and I am the former smoker who only uses them... please lemme know how the freezer thing works out.

I have a bit of empirical data on this subject. For a year and a half now I have had PVs in my car, always. I live in a temperate zone so the temp in my car is below 0 deg F in the winter at times and WAY above 100 in the summer. I have noticed NO effect on the carto performance. The batteries however are a different story. Both heat and cold drain the charge quicker.

For the record, I just pulled a pack of vanilla cartos out of the feeezer, popped it straight on a batt and am puffing with no problem.

I was gonna say that this cartos are frozen during shipping at this time of the year. They sit in trucks and then cold mailboxes. They seem to be ok to me.

Duh why didn't I think of that? For a few days anyway, the things are in all kinds of weather year round, like anything else that ships USPS or FEDEX or U{S...

I am a freight conductor. And as such have to walk around in these subzero temps we have been having lately. I noticed that they may freeze but melt so quickly after I hit the button its almost unnoticeable. But I do pull out drip tips that stick to my lip on a regular basis. Noooo its not a hospital visit. I just lick my lips and they let go. But they do instantly freeze to my lips.
