Now for some reason I can't get my sister to join the forums, so I'm going to do my best to explain what she is describing to me. I was a really, really light smoker, (3-4 analogs a day) and I really haven't had any unpleasant side effects. She smoked about a half pack a day. Anyway, she's using the e-cig and has cut down to one a day, so she says. I think she would be totally off them, except for this goofy symptom she is complaining about. She says she itches all over. It originates in her mouth, and gets worse the longer she stays away from the analog.

Anyone else have this symptom? Any advice? I told her not to worry about getting off analogs all together so quickly, its only been a week. So I told her just to have an analog when she can't stand it anymore. Thanks folks!

Im allergic to VG. Also, someone posted here about Flavourart flavorings (and Im sure more also) use PG in the flavorings.. even in all VG juice. It was recommended to put a drop or 2 of the juice on the inside of the elbow (or other sensitive skin area) and see if there is a reaction.. red bumps, itching, etc. I would suggest trying the allergy test and then finding a good supplier that uses NO PG in flavoring or in the base. Someone else can probably help you find a supplier that is totally PG free.

Good luck!

What the're describing is like an allergy test. If she has a reaction on her arm, or wherever she puts a drop of the flavoring, she is probably allergic. Therefore she would have the mouth etc. reaction when she vapes. It is also possible to be allergic to VG. Might want to be careful, allergies and the reactions can be serious.

No, but if she substitutes vaping for an analog when she wants one, she'll get a reaction if its the vg or the flavoring.

Hopefully it's just the lack of nicotine! :)

But I also read on here that some folks have an allergy to coconut and that most vg is derived from that. If she does have that allergy it may be a factor.
