% of water to cut VG?

Hi all, I have tried making my own diy and I suck at it. I can never mix good tasting juice so I think I'm just going to vape VG and nic. Straight. (Maybe 2 or 3 drops menthol for just a hint) How much distilled water should I use to thin out my juice? What %? Thanks in advance!

Water does not vape well, try PG or PGA (vodka in a pinch), and 20-30% or more depending on preferrence.

It will give you the consistency of PG, maybe a little thicker depending on the nic VG

Don't give up. There is plenty of good recipes in this forum. Make small batches so not to waste any. Some experimenting is necessary but you'll eventually get the hang of it.

Thanks for the encouragement, but I think ill go plain until I quit smoking. This way ill be able to taste the liquid better. Another anoying factor is that I waste a cartomizer after everytime after I fill it with some nasty juice. Ill try plain for a while and get back to you guys on how it goes.

Just drip while you are playing, and I start at 10% and go up until desired thinning achieved. 18% is almost always good, but sometime too much depending on what all else you have added. i just play with concentrates TPA, so far, kind of vapable.

Some people do not want to vape alcohol, me included. Dries me out and makes me feel weird. I prefer my VG juices on the thicker side for dripping, so I use 5-10% water for that, and about 15-20% for cartos, as it wicks better. I agree with Dee74: some flavorings thin more than others, so there is no set % water that works always.
