Got a myself a zenesis mini and was wondering how many wraps you guys do and what guage of wire you use. Currently using a 400 ss mesh. Thanks in advance.

Wish I could help you out but have not attempted a rebuilable yet. Hopefully some one will jump on here to help you. If not try to google zenesis mini or look on you tube. If I have not gotten my answer on the forums (which rarely happens) I can usually find my answer there.
The number of wraps and size of the wire are the main factor. I just started with a Chobra rba. I'm still to new to give much advice here.

I think 32 is what I like the most. It is thinner so after you torch it is very bendable. Also the resistance is high so it's easier to hit the target ohms for a device like a vamo that won't fire under 1.2 ohms. Just my opinion though.
32 gauge with 4 wraps gets me at 1.2 ohms and 5 wraps about 1.5-1.7. You really need to get an ohm meter so you can check your coils.
32 on ss mesh will be about 2.0 for me - cos i am sloppy! about 4-5 wraps.

28g 5/6 wraps will get you 0.7-0.9 ohms if your after slr. 30g 4/5 1.0-1.2 ohms. Anything higher will get you 1.5 and above, unless you make 2/3 wraps to get 1.0-1.2 ohms. I wouldn't recommend it since your using a mechanical, 32g at 1.0 ohms heats up the coils faster since they are thinner. I get lots of hotspots from 32g, unless I make it 1.5 or higher.
On mechanicals, volts decrease after a while and and you'll get cooler vape with higher ohms like 1.5 ohms. I myself used to like a cooler vape, but after making a good coil with 28g 0.8 ohms. I'm actually enjoying it. I get allot more vapor and flavor from it. But then again. I use mostly 18650's and they hold their volt loads longer than 18350's.

On my Macaveli 350 I use 32g twisted with a 3/4 wrap at 1.1 ohms, my AGA-S 32g 2/3 wrap at 0.9 ohms, and my IGO-L with 32g twisted 2/3 wrap at 0.8 ohms. I currently only have 32g kanthal, which is why it's twisted on some of my setups. You're going to need a multimeter to see where you like your resistance. With lower resistance you get a warmer vape, more flavor, and bigger clouds of vapor. I tried a 0.6 ohm coil and thought it was too warm for me. Today I tried a 0.3 ohm dual coil setup on a Nimbus dripper, that was way too much...huge clouds though.
I like anything under 1.5.... I guess im going to have to buy some 28g wire. Its a lot easier on my provari since i can read it right on the provari. Thanks...this forum is so helpful.
If you have the Zenesis Mini hybrid...I don't see how you could read the resistance of your coil with the provari.
I meant its easier with my other rebuildables.... Im not sure how many wraps i need when I dont have that option. Trial and error i guess.
30g with 4 wraps is working well for me...do you guys use anything different when using a drip style atomoizer?
