Good stuff..I was looking at the Davide last night and I have a PT2 in the mail.

Dang ibtanked can get pricey quick eh?

While we are talking tanks..is there a place to get covers for the pt2? I don't always like my liquid to show. Heck right now I have some watermelon flavor that is bright pink. I'm not saying people can't like pink but I got twin daughters and another daughter popping out in 5 weeks, there is more than enough pink in my life lol

You might want to look at the ARO tank. It's a pyrex bottom coil that has a metal sleeve on most of the outside.

ETA: It has eGo threading though, so you might need an adaptor on some APVs.

Yeah if you get color added and get one of the drip tips from them. If you skip those two and get the 19mm XL tank, you can get out the door for $27 I think. Still more expensive than getting a PT2 or Davide, but from the tanks I've used so far, the carto tank gives me the best flavor.

I'm just now starting to play around with rebuilding the heads on my T3s and Davide and after I feel comfortable with rebuilding those (which I'm pretty much there already), I'll look at maybe getting an RSST RBA and see how I like the RBAs.

So many choices out there and my bank account hates me for it.

That link is for the cheap plastic version - it has ego and 510 threading ...
This is the link for the full metal body and tip and pyrex tank , this is the one that is only ego threading

Thank you for catching that. I got distracted by the pretty colors.

So with things like the VAMO, Lavatube, Segilei, or other "mods" (those ARE mods, right?) do u just get the battery compartment, plus a few of those special mod batteries called like 59683754 or whatever, and a carto/clearo/atomizer and you're set? I hope there's really nothing more to it than that. I'm just trying to calculate how much it will cost to buy the entire setup, the kits for them usually include extra stuff u might not need or already have, so I'm trying to get the bare bones minimum price.

Also, what are the benefits to using a tank instead of a clearo or atomizer? I don't see the wicks in the tanks but I can see the rolled up fibers or whatnot. Are they *that* pricey because they never go bad?

Maniac..for$100 you can get a good setup. If you have time to wait check out fasttech.com. if not get something off eBay.

As far as the tanks vs cartos etc...tanks for sure. The flavor is real good. Vapor is real good. And the wicks can last a while. You might need to replace the coil but the wick usually stays good. If your looking for MASSIVE vapor you want to go with a dripper.

Hope this helps
