Wow...thanks y'all! I really appreciate the input. I think im gonna go wih the svd..it looks tough and has good reviews.

I will update this thread after recieving it for my opinion.

^^^Now to find that deal ^^^

This might be it... $60 though. .. $60.08 INNOKIN iTaste SVD Telescoping Variable Voltage Electronic Cigarette Set - w/ 2 x iClear30 atomizers and heating cores at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

At that price, go for it! The SVD is a great APV. It was the first APV I ever used actually, my dad has one. I wound up with a Vamo V2 and an eVic because...Well, the Vamo was cheap and the eVic was not. Well, not the first time. My current eVic came outta the classifieds here for a cool $65 including the mini tube!

Anyway, the Vamo V3 is around $60 and it's great. My one gripe with the V2, no Ego threading and the top collar doesn't come off making cleaning a PITA.

Given the choice though, I'd say go for the SVD for sure.

Your Trustfire charger will work fine, it's what I currently use for all the mod batteries in my home. Between me and my dad, that's a :censored: load of batteries!

I'm trying to prevent another thread abt this but ... I'm having the EXACT same problem! I knew I needed something passthrough, but also variable voltage. After looking around sites at various battery types I came across abt 5 other features that weren't part of the initial criteria but of course they are NOW ;) So I started looking at K-gos, Ego V's, a cheap I-taste, things that had passthroughs and high volts ... then someone suggested a vamo (a LOT of ppl) and of course along came the lavatube, a segilei, things in that class. I got so caught up into the amazing features of the mod types that I kept increasing my money limit a little more, a little more, and more. Isn't the point of a set limit on funds to NOT go over that limit? LOL!

So now I'm back in your boat, just really indecisive. I research things a little obsessively, which is why I run into these problems. I wound up ultimately wanting a Lavatube (I'm shocked that no one has suggested that yet!!). The problem is the price. It was *just* above my limit. You know, the "limit" that I raised 3 times already by using that same logic, "this ones ONLY a few more dollars, I can do that". Uhhg.

Honestly, I don't really know the difference between ego style, cigar types, AVPs and mods. I assumed "mods" were just any type of setup you build yourself. I haven't the slightest idea abt them other than that. I'm not even sure I can build a mod, perhaps its just as straight forward as it looks. Good luck mate, let us know what u decided on :)

Tripple digits half way to home
I own each of these.....my preference in order

I have had 2 Vamo's and they were both junk!

Glad I'm not the only one that feels that way.
In my order of preference.
1; Provari
2; Tie between the Reo Grand and the Reo 2.1
3; Preciese Plus
4; Legacy's from Puresmoker
5; Goes between the Buzz Pro and the Evic. (The Evic has a nice smooth vape with no rattlesnake effect to it. And besides it's kinda fun to play with when I get bored. Really delicate though)
6; Tesla's
7; Never count out a Silver Bullet with a kick installed. you can pound nails with it and not hurt it.
To many more to list but you get the idea.
I've got about 8 or 9 Kanger Pro Tanks. I like em a lot, even though a lot of people complain of leaking. Mine never have. "Knock on wood".
I also wasted money on two vamo's and they were both junk also. Trash can time for one and sold the other for $15 dollars after it fell apart in my hands where it was press fitted together. Let the rants begin!!!!

Easy. First APV. Vamo V3 in stainless. Best value and best entry point. You can figure out the other 100 options later. And definitely do not get the MVP (V1). The V2 is just now coming out, has an Ohm meter, and it about $3 more, so do not buy the MVP V1 now. Tank wise, you cannot beat the Protank or Davide. The full tank is a little better vape to me that than the mini's. I have each of the four configurations in the old and new configs. Still not cheap. At Fasttech, the V3 Vamo kit is $58 and the Protank is about $16 - $20, the Davide a bit less, and virtually identical, using the same coils. You will need extra coils. The FT kit with the Nitecore charger and Panny batteries is a good deal and good gear. So, you're looking at about and $80 or less entry price to join the big dogs. Good luck, congrats, welcome, happy hunting, power up and vape on!

What about the cats? We're little but tough.

I prefer my Sigelei Zmax to my Vamo. Whatever you are considering, I highly recommended looking at the threads in the APV forum to see what kinds of problems current owners are having and what the fixes are.

ETA: These are my favorites in order, which means nothing except they make me happy:

1)ProVari
2) Phidias
3) Reo mini
4) Bobo (It's a Sigelei Zmax)
5) A little 3.7 box mod/Vamo (tie)
6) Joyetech Twists

I'm sure you will like your new mod, no matter what you choose - in fact, choosing is part of the fun :) And I'm glad you're cool with cats, but I am not a man.

I'm bored at work so I'll toss in my two cents. I have two AVPs, an eVic and a Vamo. I bought the eVic because vv/vw plus i thought it looked cook with a PT1. Then I bought a Vamo v2 just because. Since then, I barely use my eVic. In fact, I don't think i've touched it in like 2 weeks. IMHO the Vamo is superior to the eVic. Both the PT1 and PT2 work well with the Vamo, but I have found that the Vision Victory give better flavor and better vapor production. Plus it holds twice the amount of eliquid. My only gripe about the victory is that you need an adapter for it to fit the Vamo. It would look so much better if it fit into the drip well.

In short: I recommend the Vamo + Vision Victory

Oh, very well....

My preferences are:

1 ProVari
2 eVic
3 eGo twist
4 Lavatube
5 Vamo

I also did not like my Vamo. I found the eVic, while fragile, was a much better product for my vaping profile.

I use Protanks and Evods mostly these days. I vape mostly tobaccos which are either 70/30 or 80/20 VG/PG ratios. HHV and MOV are my current to juice vendors.

SVD and Davide or PT2. Like Bill said the Davide and Protank are pretty much identical and the coils are interchangeable and good vapes, but you can get the Davide for a couple of $$ less.

Another good choice is a carto tank from IBTanked. To keep the cost down you can skip adding color to the tube and skip the drip tip (much cheaper 510 drip tips out there).

Good stuff..I was looking at the Davide last night and I have a PT2 in the mail.

Dang ibtanked can get pricey quick eh?

While we are talking tanks..is there a place to get covers for the pt2? I don't always like my liquid to show. Heck right now I have some watermelon flavor that is bright pink. I'm not saying people can't like pink but I got twin daughters and another daughter popping out in 5 weeks, there is more than enough pink in my life lol
