Very very good point. You think my body would compensate for what I was loosing. I think diet could have alot to do with it. I eat pretty bad. Things like fast food,
frozen lasagna, hot pockets lol. I'm not overweight. 6' 188 lbs I just eat horrible.

I have an appointment with my new GI Dr on 3/25 which is my birthday. I'm going to try to get on a good regiment with medication and diet. Today is the first day of the rest of my life as the old cliche goes. I'm going to try to add a few years if I can help it.

Oh I'm home by the way. Just relaxing watching American Pickers. Great to see my son. We decided not to have him visit. I didn't want him to catch any crap from the hospital. I have a good amount of energy due to the stranger's blood btw. Example, I took a bath to get the stank out right when I got home. Now normally when I take a bath when I'm in there I'm dozing off, and when I try to get out it's hard and I feel lightheaded. I didn't feel sleepy at all in the bath today and I got out no problem. It was great.

Thanks again everyone for being there for me guys. You are all family to me now. A few happy tears did run when I was reading your comments at the hospital. It was like you were there with me.

As some of you know I have crohn's disease/ulcerative colitis. I haven't been to a Dr in a while due to not having insurance. I finally got insurance again and saw the Dr Saturday. He said I looked a bit weak asking if I was tired. They took a blood test. This morning on the way to work the nurse from the office called me saying my levels were dangerously low. So low in fact that they said I need to go to the hospital for a blood transfusion.

My iron is a -2 when it should be in the 15-55 range. Ha I'm still wondering how it could be a negative number. I asked the nurse if I could do this transfusion deal on my day off she said it was too dangerous to wait that I could have a heart attack? I'm 34 turning 35 for crying out loud I'm too young for that. I decided to come home and have my father and mother in law to take me with my wife and son. I really don't want to go solo because I'll do my best to get out of there. I hate hospitals plus the fact I'm a bit nervous.

I'm bringing my backpack with me. Got my EA, provari, pila charger, extra batteries, wick and wire if I feel bold lol, juice. I'm not even going to ask to vape, just stealth in the bathroom heh.

I consider you guys family and will keep those of you who care updated. Just a bit freaked out she said heart attack. Really puts things in perspective.

As you recall, my 86 y/o mom has Crohn's & her birthday is coming up next month. She's very careful what she eats. So I asked her if she wanted a chocolate birthday cake. She said YES! She can have white flour & chocolate...just no nuts & fresh fruit & no raw salad.

So there you have it!! A recommendation for a birthday cake for ya. Chocolate is on your diet. YAY.
