I've posted before that the wife and I just passed our 1-year anniversary off the analogs. During this time, we've been using regulated mods with PT2's which contain rebuilt heads and cotton wicks. We've been okay with this setup since some of our juices were problematic for plastic tanks.

For my anniversary present, she's already told me to get a Reo + RM2 setup. I'm excited.

She's more of a grab and go sort of person and likes to change up tanks frequently. I handle all the tank and coil work. She fills tank, drops in a rebuilt coil, lets it soak up for a couple minutes and vapes away. I'll let her try the Reo...but under the assumption she may not like it (squonking or changing out bottles for various juices), I'm looking for next option for her. So.........is there a reasonable no fuss Tank RBA out there with Glass tank option that I could upgrade to ?? She is a flavor chaser...if that helps. Just would like a quality piece that works ... hoping you all can help.

I tried creating a thread in a different forum but it go almost no traction. Hoping here with the diverse crowd, I could get some more informative responses on what everyone uses. Maybe the glass options just don't exist as I could only find a couple alternatives. Suppose I could use plastic and just keep a couple PT2's around for those trouble juices. Thanks for anything you can provide.

I do think any rba tanks are truly no fuss, but maybe a Kayfun lite+ or a SQuape would be up her alley. There's an extensive thread specific to each here that will have all the info, reviews, builds and more than you would ever want to know. I'd recommend those for tanks. I hear some of the new Kanger tanks are much improved, but I bailed on clearomizers months ago as I like to build. Good luck and congrats!

I have the Taifuns and the kayfuns and they are both good for flavor. Kayfuns work really good with fruits. I like to change flavors alot during the day so I still keep the Mini protanks and evods around, with rebuilt coils. {5/64 30ga 1.8ohm} Tried the full size protank but I get better flavor with the mini and evod for some reason, even with the same coil. So I don't know, if it's not broke don't fix it?

Hey Taylor7617,

You aint going to get big flavor from any Kanger Protank system,

I have been using a Smoktech Pyrex Rsst System for a couple months now with a 1.2Ohm (or a bit lower) micro coil with cotton wick - Nicoticket Hummingbird e-liquid & it is amazing!!! Nicoticket Rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol!!!!
Get yourself an Rsst style tank & sum Nicoticket juice & you will be set!

You Are Lucky your misses like vaping and gets involved & switches up flavor's!!! Trust Me!!!

I met someone that didn't like a REO once. ;)

I also find that a rebuilt protank mini or evod is still a fine topper for easy or on the go vaping. I drip high VG juices to avoid wicking issues and I have a Taifun GS but I don't like it as much as my mini protanks and evods. The Kayfuns & Taifuns have a plastic tank with a stainless steel tank option for harsh eliquids. Finding a glass rebuildable that doesn't have many drawbacks can be difficult. The protank 3 mini may be an option. I'm not as interested in the new protank 3 because dual coils are a pain to rebuild in such a tiny head. You may just want to wait a couple of months and see what comes out next. I wish I had more advice to offer you.

Hard to go that low with a regulated device. She likes knowing her battery level and when the mod shuts off, she grabs another battery. Love me some NT, just trying to see if there is a better topper.

+1 for a Kayfun.

KFL+ or 3.1 are both excellent, because of the airflow. Easy to build on and she can just change out the cotton and give it a rinse. Better yet, she can get full replacement tanks for it and just switch them around when she wants to change juices.

You could get a clone first to see if she likes it.

What are the differences?
Assume these are plastic?
...and what do you mean by "get full replacement tanks and just switch them around" ?

Thanks to all of you that have replied. Guess I've got some researching to do and then just go and grab a couple to do some testing on.

3.1 is bigger and has airflow control on the side

lite plus has airflow control on the underside.

The tanks can be full stainless, full plastic or part and part. You can buy smaller chimneys and reduce the tank size. Get different colours etc. Don't let the plastic put you off. It's actually Makrolon, so unless you're using juices like Pluid, you should be fine. I've never had a problem.

+1 on the Kayfun's. I like switching juices. I vape 2 different ones during the day, but at night I might switch up 5 or 6 different ones. I used to use Protank mini's for the nighttime juices as they hold smaller amounts and I don't usually vape any one for very long. I have since switched to a dripper for those. The two I vape during the day are in Kayfun's. She will be amazed at how good juice tastes in a Kayfun!

I've been using protanks for like 7-8 months. Then bought a nautilus about 3 weeks ago and a kayfun a week ago. If someone would have told me in the beginning to just get a kayfun, it would have saved me so much effort and money for what I was trying to achieve - better vape and better flavor. I tried building coils in protanks. They are without a doubt so much more difficult than in the kayfun simply because the working space is so small. I would vote hands down for the kayfun lite plus.
