I work at a very small startup company (downside - sometimes I don't get paid for months...) and we share the office with another small company (each is 3-4 people) and both bosses said I could vape in my office (without me asking - I just showed it to them). I did get some comment about a stinky Turkish blend (Desert Ship) but now I vape a cocoa tobacco that is mostly cocoa and not offensive and a vanilla and some occasional fruit flavors and the aroma doesn't reach the hallway (I have my own small office and we leave our doors open. So I am lucky. My one boss smokes in the warehouse room where I used to smoke too.

I'm also one of the lucky "vape at work" employees. But then again, I'm also in a very small start-up with a total of 4 employees on site. My boss, the CEO, thinks my vaping is just great! However, when visitors come in or we have the monthly Board meeting, I don't vape where they can see me.

Dormouse ... you need to come to my start-up company ... we ALWAYS get paid on time ... :)

Didnt really give my boss an option, turned up one day, told him about it, and started vaping infront of him and all the office, they are actually very supportive of my giving up analogs, and have been great, my office generally looks cloudy, it is quite small, so I can generally fill it with huge volumes of vape. Looks funny on days I actually go in. (work from home more than office)

I'm doing the whole "beg forgiveness" thing myself... I've been doing it at my desk, along with another co-worker in another department... I try not to bring attention to it though, I hold the hit longer so no/less vapor comes out, and the scent of the liquids I have now is rather low and not unpleasant (Watermelon and strawberry FTW!)

my boss doesn't care - I vape all day when you walk in my area you can see vape plumes coming from my cubicle

I'm with you Doc. My boss could care less. He likes it that I'm not sneaking out every hour to catch a smoke. More productive. Plus my co-workers like that I don't smell like an ashtray anymore. :)

I work in a grocery store bakery and just go in the back to have a few puffs every now and then. Everyone in my department knows about it and just laughs. Unfortunately there is a no smoking on the property policy coming down in a week and I think I'm going to have to be more sneaky about it. I'm about to order one of the V4L stealth series shorty batteries and just use that once in a while while at work. I'm playing the "don't ask, don't tell" game right now because it's not smoking, but I'm sure I'll get in trouble eventually.

I vape all day long at work. Our office is in an industrial setting. As said above, the Air Force has classified E Cigs as tobacco products, so technically we are supposed to go outside. Everyone says "As long as you make the room smell good, we don't care." My immediate supervisor is still kinda of worried our HMFIC (Head Mother F-er In Charge) is going to say something about it, but so far, haven't had any negative comments. My supervisor actually wanted to try it out so he could see if it would be a good birthday present for his brother. If anything you should offer up the chance to try it out. Seems like once some one gets to experience "vaping", they're less likely to complain about it.
