Well, like I said, it's been pretty hit and miss with the batch I currently have. I'll see how this fresh batch performs once they arrive.

As for O-rings, madvapes carries the replacement O-rings I believe, though their shipping to Canada is pretty expensive.

Can't we just get them at Home Depot or something?

Seems the size info is not readily available.....i did find and ECF thread where this was said "From what I recall, people were speculating that both o rings were metric sizes, the inner being a 9mm inside diameter with a 1.5mm thickness, and the outer being an 11mm inside diameter with a 2mm thickness." Whether this is right or not is not known by me.

Worth a try to see if I can pick a few of these up. I'll go to a plumbing store, canuck tire, and home creepo on the weekend and see. :) I need some Noalox as well. gonna unsqueek the evo and lube my toys.

Hmm.. I have 2 dct's sitting on my desk that flooded like a .... even with 100% vg, and 1 of them inside a home made syringe tank that floods and leaks all over. The ones that came in the 2 tanks I ordered work great. I gave the others away and not sure if they ever got used.
I almost gave up on tanks till I got the evo and then I regained confidence and then internal fear that they all flood. No issues with them not drawing proper. More like using them like they are burning hot juice straw. The single coil non flanged cartos work well for me tho. both sr and lr. I haven't slotted them at all to use them in tanks yet. Not enough time in a day.

Where can I get new o-rings for the 6ml tanks? I snapped one the second day after I got it and it leaks really bad on me. Currently I stretch the o-ring out and jam 'er in quick but it is still a sieve when I lay it down. :(

I have the small DCT and blew a gasket on the inside of the cap. I used an o ring from a kit you can get at the hardware store , it wasn't a perfect fit but works fine: it's a wee bit small but stays in place. I nicked the orig when filling and sliding the carto back up; that SS carto edge is sharp (rookie move). Now I slide the cart just into the cap, insert a rubber ce2 tip http://www.canvape.com/product-p/ce2t.htm to protect the ring, fully push the carto in and switch to my drip tip,

I don't slot my carts, just that stock tiny hole and only occasionally have to slow down my chain vaping when using my EVO on middle setting (SR carto)to let the juice wick.

My friend bought a gas station 0 nic ecig that came in a tube with rubber plug ends. five minutes with a hacksaw and pipe cutter and I have a free DCT! The end plugs are about 1/4 inch thick, I just used a dead cart, hit it with a hammer to cut through the plugs and it seals perfectly. Of course its ten bucks for one of those ecigs so unless you have a friend, just buy a DCT!!

Not sure what the point of that story was.

Riva batteries/kits coming back in stock any time soon? I wantz 2 or one.

They are in the process of being cleared(still) but we retained a real broker so are hoping to have them mid next week unless it's a total fail.

Let me know if you can't steal ones that will fit off some random appliance at a big box store and I'll see if I can find a set for you :)

I got your point! I have one of those tubes with the rubber caps from an nv disposable I bought while waiting for my first kit :p The thing lasted about 1 hours and im not sure I could even charge it again so it just sits here in a box lol I used to put that tube around the vision extremes so I could power vape without getting juice in my mouth.
I dunno if the tube would make a very stable tank, but I found some 20 and 30ml syringes that work well. It's cheaper for me to get a DCT tho :) 3$ for syringes, 2$ for a drip tip and 2$ for a carto and the time to cut it up and make it. I think I had Deja vu! did I write this before? I think I am going nutz!

Anyone have a caliper handy to test the sizes? Maybe a Switcher tip for tomorrow :p

sounds similar to that time I won a golden ticket to visit some candy factory. There was a bunch of little orange dudes all over the place, some stupid broad got turned into a blueberry, and I got sent through the air in a million pieces and came out of a tv as a much smaller version of my self. They put me in a taffy stretcher...can you say lawsuit?
Good to know...
I'll be placing an order as soon as they're up.

When were the drip shields added?

How do these work exactly? You have to use them with 510-510 adapter?

They slip over an atomizer. Most often used with 901 atomizers because they have a hole in the side where juice can leak out when dripping, but they work with 510s, too.
