I like the device, but so far the standard tanks aren't doin it for me, as all I seem to be getting is the taste of burnt atty even tho I'm getting ok vapor. And that's with two different juices (one at 70/30 & the other at 50/50 PG/VG).... I'm hoping that its just a break in period at this point, or that I've missed doing something that I was supposed to (first time using tanks).

Now, those bridgeless LR attys........ HOLY CRAP !!! They are awesome ! But I bought these to taste test juices with and wanted to steer away from dripping as the norm. Lol, can't believe the nic buzz I get from these things !

Have yet to mess with the exteme's.. I actually hadn't realized they were this style type, but will try them out later.

Sure wish my juice order MLV would have arrived... I have a feeling my on hand stuff is on the verge of rancid (or at least tastes that way).

Either way, I'm glad to have something new to play with, absolutely loved the super fast delivery (to the boons even), and to have received a bonus cherry drip tip.

Tricks ?

Thin the juice with a little bit of vodka or distilled water. I have yet to find an eGo-type tank system that handled even 70/30 well. 20% VG seems to be the upper limit for those. Alternatively, you can thin your juice by dipping the bottle in some very hot water for 5 minutes or so. This thins the liquid and it won't thicken back up after it cools. If it's still not thin enough, repeat.

Well that sucks...... I prefer heavy VG for thick (not burn/harsh hit), in your throat/chest, as well as the sweetness it adds. Not to mention huge exhales vape clouds.

What about on the extreme's ? Hope not the same story.

Anything with a wick is going to be the same!! They do not like thicker juices.. period!

The whole point of trying to get back into vaping was based on not having to drip which is just a pain in the .... to me after a while (especially when your busy doing something without needing to stop/drip/stop/drip).

Don't get me wrong..... dripping works great and more satisfying than anything I've tried in the past...... BUT, the hassle of it just deters the effort of not smoking for me.

The vizions crave VG,I actually vape some Alien visions banana slurry that is 100% VG and it rocks in vizions..but yeah,80 PG/20VG is prefered,works in all and everything that is made.

eGo-T tanks not working as intended?
I find that once the atty gave burnt taste,there is not much that can be done but replace for new ones...or forget about them (which is the better option).

Actually, the Extremes will very happily vape 70/30 with no issues at all. Probably a little thicker, too, if you adjust the cup seal to let more juices in. Probably even thicker if you do my Ultimate mod. The Visions are far better at wicking than eGo type tanks.

I'm gonna wait and see how the monster 4-wick giant works out.

The whole key with the visions is if your getting a bit of a dry hit just tilt it upside down and you should be okay to go again. Alternately if you vape with the the PV end a little higher than your mouth you should be okay with them

Did you give the cartridge a little twist the first couple times putting in on the atty. I makes the hole big enough so it drips down to the coil. Makes all the difference when using them. Well worked for me anyway. Not the ones that have the fiber at the bottom that some vendors sell.

Minilava tube will be the same price as the Lavatube. I thought smaller? cheaper? but they are the exact same cost so the same retail.

Within the week but that is a Chinese week so I expect to be using them on the beach. In Muskoka.

I feel your pain, but I only vape 100% pg dekang so life is but a dream for me, except for everything but my personal vaping

Hi Smokum,
You have problems with the Smoktech DCT 6ml ? I imagine that's what you were talking about. Mine works great from the start on all different voltages and with 2 different juices so far. Hope they are working better now for you. There's nothing worse then burnt taste.
Keep us informed how it goes for you.
