I finally got my shipment *dances* turns out it was to "heavy" for the mail man to deliver  i did not know lifting a small package like that was too hard for them........anyway amongst the things i ordered was the pass through battery...not sure if i should say i like it or love it :D true difference
and now for my brainiac manouver with it
After bringing home the package (about a hour ago), i ripped into the packaging and removed the usb ac charger, plugged the pass through in via the 5 pin to charge it, waited for the red light to go out, screwed in place the clearomizer, pressed the passthrough button, and felt my heart drop when it did not work...i was in a panic and just about to email saying that it was DOA, when by mistake i pressed the button 5 times really quick and VOILA! she works

but just a few questions what is a good way of cleaning the extreme version clearomizer, and smoktech dual coil cartomizer? if there is a way?

I just received a 5 pack of both the Boge and Kanger horizontal cartos. So how do I know which is which; they both look the same. One of the pacages was shipped in a box labeled 'Atomized cartridge' (Im thinking these may be the Kangers) where the other cartos were just in a plastic bag.

@Constantine. Personally I prefer not to charge via a computer unless absolutely required for any device I may insert and remove lots to prevent some type of accidental short to the computer. If you are using a USB hub, they are cheap enough to replace. I think my USB ac power adapters output 2000 mA. Thats my view just from the protecting my PC side of things only.

The Boge have a small coil you can see when you look into the carto. The Kangers are all filler as the coil is at the bottom.

 umm so if i use a usb hub, i can safely power the pass through battery through that? i thought the side of the discussion that said not to charge via the computer meant that no matter what it will pop the port (including the one the hub would be plugged into) if not then i will be using the hub i got here then...(go figure...i can reporgram many a thing, never took the time to learn the hardware )

I don't know if you can use the hub with a passthough; better wait for someone else that knows more to give advice on that matter. I was stating in general I would never use computer to power any device that I remove alot, especially if it has high drain. Personally I would use ac adapter since that what I do with all my other devices; I have a 2000 mA adapter that can power 2 devices (power gets lowered to each device if there are 2 plugged in). I have no experience with the passthrough vapers at all (just to be clear) :)

I would avoud the PC port. A USB Hub or AC adapter (Best) are the way to go to avoud frying the USB port/mainboard on teh PC.
i have a cheap one i picked up in the north end of Winnipeg right beside me, and if it is a better option then i will toss the blackberry and blue tooth on it.....or......i need to do some serious re-arranging in my room here :D i think the re-arranging would be a safer bet (seeing as i have two power outlets in this place :|)

As long as the USB hub has a AC adapter you should be fine. The hubs that are powered off the computer USB are not going to work for you.

I've never heard of a passthrough frying a USB port before. I use my USB ports on my laptop to charge pretty much everything (normal eGo's, eGo VV's, KR808's, smartphone) I've heard of external HD's blowing the protection and shorting out the USB before, but those were due to faults in wires connecting the USB to the HD, and the worst I've seen in that you don't have a USB port anymore. Never seen a whole MB go before.

Your MB should have circuit protection through the USB. I wouldn't be surprised if say, USB 1.0 didn't have this protection, but I'm fairly certain 2.0 and 3.0 have these protections in place.

Really, what would be the point of a passthrough if you were tied to a wall outlet? Unless your outlet is RIGHT in front of you, it just wouldn't be practical at all.

The g4's 80% of people hate but the other 20% keep buying them and love them.
V510 would be a better bet IMO.

HAD TO DROP THE PRICE ON THE STARDUST! Lowest price policy was in jeopardy. So load up!

Nice price drop 40 mins after I buy 5 of them

I should have waited
