I can't verify the exact specs of what you guys are getting... but I can tell you... Anyone who had a powdercoated one and is now getting chrome. They're SOOOO not even comparable. The chrome ones have SERIOUS heft.. they're MUCH more durable, look and feel much more 'high end'... you'll be thrilled for the switch out. Trust me. And keep in mind these are similar units to what other places are selling for considerably more money. You're ending up with a NICE unit here... Really nice. I have a stainless with the v1 internals, and the chrome with the updated internals is so my ideal. lol They're REALLY nice.

I guess I'm going to wait for an official announcement from Andrew either on this thread or through email before I send mine in for refund ore replacement. I'm already not thrilled about paying a price difference for a new one, nor for having to pay for return shipping of the defective unit. It's not "crystal clear" to me, as there hasn't been direct info offered from Andrew himself on exactly what we should be doing, and what we would be receiving--although he's clearly been posting here and I assume reading the questions and comments.

WE ARE WAITING FOR NEW UNITS TO ARRIVE, dealing with Chinese like pulling teeth, don't really want to do it, but sometimes it must be done and the whole process is unbearable. If your tube is working just use it with caution til the new ones arrive, you will know , because this thread will light up an should get a email to the affect also.

So what is the price difference? Or do we not know yet? I concur with Zooker in that I'm not thrilled about paying return shipping and a difference in price, but alas. I got my unit off of the classifieds and the person I bought it from didn't know about these issues, after I found out I contacted him to find out where he bought it and thankfully it's from CCV and he's been very helpful. So while I'm not thrilled about it, I will do it and be thankful, lol

Was just pulling the trigger on a Vmax, used the ecf5off code and it did not work. Is there a new code? Is there no longer an ecf discount?

@ CCV everything is in discount mode free shipping like 10% off,,, get 5% in rewards every purchase (10% on Tuesdays), plus prices not bad either....:)

Im perfectly happy paying the upgrade for the chrome V2 after speaking with Jeremy and Andrew both. As long as they deliver what I heard from them myself you WILL be happy also.

I shipped mine back. Andrew check your mailbox it got there today. The total cost was under $4 with a padded envelope, extra bubble wrap I had on hand, and delivery confirmation to ship it back ya'll. Its not that expensive and you are getting much better than what you had to begin with at little extra expense. When all is said and done (I could be wrong) youll be looking at less than $25 more than what you paid, for a better unit. Again, as long as CCV can deliver and I believe they can.

I dont like waiting. I dont have another vv mod to use so Im stuck with other gear for now. I dont know why specific details of the V2 are not being divulged by CCV. However it could be that Andrew wants to verify the units themselves before he openly states details as to not disaapoint people if the manufacturer is not being straight. I dont know. I know what I was told but its not my place to spill the beans.

I await some details myself on exactly what the exchange process will be, when, and exactly how much itll cost but hopefully CCV will put a detailed post with the info and erase all questions and doubt. Its really their call.

They told me when i shipped the other units back and i sent tracking they would ship new units,, according to tracking my package has attempted delivery in china last 4 days, those idiots still haven't shipped my stuff, after being paid for it an all, going to look this weekend for another supplier so i can get you guys your replacements, cause it sounds like I'm being jerked around and i told them this morning on skype, called them crooks and bunch other names, i don't like this any better then you, so if i can get some units just to satisfy the replacements for the time being I told you what they told me, also told him a person is only as good as his word, and I don't appreciate to made to look like an idiot just cause you couldn't keep your word an ship the replacements after i paid you for them and sent this package back at my expense.

Not sweating here Andrew. CCV is a first rate vendor in my book. You've bent over backwards to try and please us. If the whole deal fell completely thorough right now, that opinion wouldn't change. It's always been great doing business with you in the past, and I'm sure it will be going forward also.

TBH, I'm REALLY happy with the L Tube that Andrew originally sold me. There may be a safety issue, and that is the only reason I'd even consider swapping it. If the Chrome ones coming are V1 electronics in a chrome tube, I'll be happy to keep mine. That's nothing against Andrew or CCV, he can only offer what's available. I'm not really concerned about cosmetics though. If I had a choice between having the internals from my 1.5 stuffed inside an Elmo Doll, or a titanium and diamond L Tube with v1 guts, I'll be the guy vaping Elmo. This 1.5 I have quite simply provides the best vape of ANYTHING I've ever tried.

I suppose what I'm saying is everyone here should be really grateful that they made their purchase from a vendor that is willing to go not just one extra mile, but many to ensure their customers are happy.

Damn man that sucks. Sorry to hear your having to go through all that trouble. Saddens me cause I was looking forward to buying one. I saw you have the Vmax up but alas I don't want a stacked bat mod. Guess I'll just have to wait with my ego twist till the come in :)

Dam, trying to give a the dude a bar gold, They turn there nose up because they want Platinum, I don't know any vendor or company that would even consider replacing a second hand product, Thought this was more then fair to offer you the replacement tube, even though you didn't purchase it from me. Maybe I need to re-think my replacement policy.

I tell ya whut...I bought a number of older juices in my classy's bundle...knowing what I got for the price. The seller was 100% honest about it. And I told him what I would be using to vape it with.

I got to check out many flavors of juices from several vendors...as a newb, that is priceless info. that I could not get otherwise in my budget.

Why is that relevant?

I bought those older juices knowing I had the power to vape the crap outa them anyways whether by carto or drip. Andrew is a solid guy. I bought those juices BEFORE I'd even gotten my first kit because I trusted in the gear and in what he told me this kit could do. He didn't exaggerate or lie about what it could and could not do...it does what he said it would.

Plus, any guy who calls me up on his dime early on a Saturday morning to discuss and work out my confusion on what the parts were...deserves a bloody medal. We had a pretty good chat.

That behavior is FAR above and beyond what he, as a vendor, is even culpable for. He really and truly believes in the no POS policy he states. Talk is cheap, of course....he shows he means it with every order.

I was taught that trust should never be given freely, it should be earned. I reckon it goes all ways.

I think I've already posted this once but I'll do it again: These are the V2 specs from young june for the CHROME unit.
- New ego style top
- New metal top & bottom caps
- Same resistance check as 1.5v
- Same battery readout on display as 1.5v
- NEW 4 AMP LIMIT
- 18650 IMR Battery recommended
- ALL CHROME BODY
- All same protections as 1.5v

If anyone else posts wondering what the specs are for the V2 PLEASE refer them to this post.

Andrew, sorry you are having that hard of a time. I know we talked about how bad it is dealing with them and in my past experience I have heart for ya. Ive been in your shoes. As far as what Vapn said on the specs that is what I was told also. I have a little doubt they may really be a true 4amp unit but that would be no fault of CCV. Thats a manufacturer overstating their product. Still, hope for the best.

I thought the v2's were in the mail already from china. I guess they are playin games. You shouldnt have to ship back anything to get what you paid for... twice now. Insist on a tracking number and threaten chargebacks for both orders... the order you returned, and the new order. The bank will back you up if you can show shipping and payment info. But thats a pita and takes a long while to settle.

I hope they get right and wise up.

Andrew will rock it for us all, no matter what.

Had a friend ask me about getting kits for his mom and dad (his mom had mentioned it before, and he grilled me for an hour), and without batting an eye I told him to check out CCV. Nice and close (he lives in W. IL), great prices and great customer service (in case his parents have any questions; I know Andrew would help them out).

Anyway, keep up the good work.
