I'm actually more concerned with the point later in that letter where the rep says that their cartos aren't meant to be used in "clear" tanks and mentions DCT specifically. Huh?

They are just looking for a way out, pass the blame instead admitting they got an issue.

i just recently ordered 15 of the 3ohm smoktech tank cartos and i had to turn the wattage on my kick down to get rid of the nasty, burning flavor. i noticed the problem on the first one i used, and i still have 14 to get through.

the nichrome wire sounds very plausable. i hope they find and fix the problem soon.
So you advise staying away from buying cartos for the next run or two till they get the problem sorted out?

This a cut/paste recent customer, name has been removed for obvious reasons:

Subject:
Boge Cartos ???

Message:
Dear Sir, This is the second time you sent me ss cartos that are not bogs. I asked for lr bog 510 ss and these are the ones that i told you last time i am not happy with. You sent me a reply that you checked boxes and found that there were 3 different cartos in the boge boxes but the ones i wanted have a small rubber plug inside the connection under the condom. So here I am with cartos that i don't like. In this order I asked you to please make sure you send me the ones with the rubber plug that goes in the connection end under the condom. Now what are we going to do i don't like these. thank You for your attention to this matter.

Grrr!

It's difficult for me to understand people that can't comprehend no warranty on cartomizers. I mean, its something that comes in a sealed package, that can't realistically be tested by the vendor selling it. Also, with the always large number of new vapers out there, who knows if they were filled properly? If you get one or two, or even three bad ones in a box, thems the breaks. If you get a whole box that is bad, then contact the vendor and let them know you had a problem, but why would you make an accuse someone of selling counterfeit product with the VERY WELL KNOWN problems going on now throughout the community.

Just saying.

And incidentally Andrew, I ordered a 15 Boge deal this weekend while your anniversary sale was on. If they are all bad, I take full responsibility, and you won't be getting an email from me asking for some sort of accommodation. I'll toss em out, move along, and order more from you when I need them.

I am fairly new to this as I have stated in previous post. I am using just Boge regular cartos now playing with different juices until I can narrow down what I really like. I am waiting for the VVMax to come in and planning on ordering one. I have seen alot of post about dual coil cartos. I have never tried that. Do you have to purchase a tank with those? I guess you have to punch them also. I am assuming these things from reading other post. How do you punch them? With a ice pick or something like that.

They make an easy punch tool specifically for this... or you could always use a dremel after using an awl.

While dual coils are great, my experience was that they ate up too much battery power... I use an 18650 ePower that is non regulated... my IMR18650's only last me about 2.5 hours with 1.25 Ohm dual coil, while the single 1.7 Ohm Resurrectors last me about 7-8 hours. There is slightly less taste with the 1.7's but once they get warmed up it is very close. (I also add just a bit more flavoring and it is all good!)

HTH! :)

Sure sounds like a low quality 18650 or a defective one.

I bet someone here knows what's going on with this:

My chrome Young June CCV VV V2 (I think that covers it) seems to put out more volts than the display indicates. A 2ohm XL Boge at 3V on the V2 is really hot, more hot than the same carto on my Bolt with a fully charged 18500 in it, more hot than on a fully charged eGo Twist set at 4V.

Has anyone else experienced this? Besides the Twist, this is my first variable voltage device, so I don't have much experience. I was thinking it could be the airflow notches on the battery connector providing so much airflow that it... honestly, I really have no idea. The only thing I can think of is maybe the display isn't accurately representing the voltage output.

Don't get me wrong, I still use the heck out of the thing. I just don't use certain cartos or juices on it because of the hot vape.

They last the same with either of the 2 AW IMR18650's or the 14 Panasonic CGR18650C's I pulled from a new laptop battery. From what I can gather, both styles are 1600 mah...

Could be the ePower for all I know...never did get to try a whole battery since I had also ordered the dual coils with the ePower and a regular 510, even the Joye 510 never even came close to cartos... I use the regular 510 for checking out new flavors, but they absolutely pale in comparison.

BTW, the dual coil 1.25's were bought elsewhere, before I found out about the 1.7 Resurrectors that brought me here! :)

Hey cmdr,

Any chance you will be stocking eFest 18500s? I know there is still a wait in the 18650s and was wondering if those were going to be offered as well.

And what happened to my battery box for my 18350s? Ha! No big deal there!

Vmax is on it's way.

Salky

Yes carry full line of efests, just started the free box thing a few days ago.
