Hi Cmdr,
I was wondering if you have tried a flat top Panasonic in the new Smoktech Gripper to see if it works? I'm hoping so because I have a bunch of them. Also, what is that micro ego bat in one of the pics? It's kind of cute.

Yes it does just try a cgr18650ch battery in gripper, it works fine, black rubber finish on is cool, these might qualify to be on my site , they sent as samples from smoktech rep, mini ego is something else, mini cartos lasted 40 pulls easily , that 350mah battery made it 3 carto changes, very impressed at something you roll up palm your hand an conceal.

Andrew & Jeremy... I just wanted to say thank you. Ive had my vmax awhile now as a replacement for my 1.5LT. The LT was my first purchase with CCV. Normally had I bought something that turned out to be bad Id never buy from that company again. However, the way you guys handled it and made it right, not just for me but alot of other people, speaks volumes for your integrity and that is something I will always respect.

Not many companies would have gone to the lengths you guys did. Jeremy was crucial and so helpful in aiding in my decision to swap for a vmax and Im thrilled his knowledge of it helped me to make that decision.

I know I dont spend a ton of money all the time, but CCV will always be one of the vendors I look to first on any future purchases. You have definitely earned my thanks, and repeat business.

Yeah, you said it. Problems from time to time with a new piece of gear are gonna creep up with any shop that doesn't have 2 year old tech... but its how they're handled that says tons about a company.

Gripper looks very cool! I juust picked up a V8 (different mod, similar shape), and I have to say, NOT a fan of boxmods, typically, due to that 'detonator' factor that was mentioned above. But these 'grip' style units are a whole other beast. They're very sleek and pocket sized, and feel fantastic in the hand. They've totally changed my mind about 'all box mods'. Ideal for someone looking for a stealthy unit, or one that can be tossed into pocket without falling out the side when you sit down. lol

Reflecting on True PV usage.

I think we as vapers sometimes really don't see or even
understand just how much our PV's are really used.... not to
mention the torture some of us put them thru for all the
concrete hits, floor drops, and the everyday bump, bang, and
booms. If you really sit back and think about it the average
vaper probably uses his/her PV about 15-16 hours out of a 24
hour day(conservatively). If you think about heavy equipment
like a commercial type mower, farm tractor, or really any type
of commercial machinery they all have a hour meter on them
(not miles), at 450 hours, which is what 15 hours a day breaks
down to in a months time, 450 hours is how long it takes to run
brand new set tires down to the steel belts, it's time for a serious
overhaul of those machines. Full hydraulic fluid flush/change, new filter,
engine oil/filter change, new belts, pulleys, cables, air filters,
grease ALL joints and fittings. We as vapers should really start
keeping in mind just how much we ask of a PV. Those
commercial machines have days off, our PV's.......not one day
off. Even if a PV only lasted a 6 month period, depending on
the cost of the PV of course, it would still be a great deal to be
replacing it every 6 months. We all want our PV to last a
lifetime, including me, but honestly just facing the simple facts
it's just simply not realistic. I really hope this helps a lot of us
to see things from a different prospective.
