Just wondering if anybody else has burnt up a carto or two with their new v2? Trying to figure out if this things just hits like a champ (or a vmax) with the new PWM chip in it, or if the last batch of boge cartos I got are just bad (my buddy was ordering and I told him to grab me a few boxes and not sure where he got them, but they have the new style condom caps on em and don't seem to hold juice as well). Judging from phils chrome lavatube comparison video where a 1.5ohm dc set at 4.5v fires at a Vavg of 4.5, it looks like these new ones are putting a ton of power out, much more then previous lavatubes... Anyhow, not that I'm complaining, I've found if I turn down the voltage a tiny bit, everything works great, but just wondering if I was the only one (meaning it's these crappy new style boge cartos and time to look into stardusts) or if this thing just puts out more power then I'm used to.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your new V2 Hawkeye. Just curious what is the resistance of the cartos you've been using on it? When I started vaping, I used a fixed 3.7v mechanical mod, and I loved CCV's Ressurectors on it. Then I added a Buzz Pro to my line up, and found Ressurectors made me miserable on it. If I would bump up the voltage just a bit too high with those 1.7 ohm cartos, it would burn the heck out of my juice. I finnally just started using 2.5 and 3 ohm hardware and was MUCH happier.

I haven't seen the prob you describe on mine, and I've been using all pretty much 3 ohm Boges. TBH, I don't find the tuning on the V2's regulator to be as agressive as it was on my v1.5.

Just like the dct carto's pre punched and plated on bottom , but instead of dual coil they are 3.0ohm single coil like the 1.7ohm resurrectors that are pre-punched. Yes they are of the XL size made to fit all smoktech tanks I sell.

I've seen 555, and cherry tobacco on the site but not under the e-liquid page. Are there any other juices that are hiding?

Thanks Turtle I missed that too. I'll have to try some of those and start using tanks. I really wish manufacturers would catch up to 2012 and start putting higher resistance cartos in DCTs.

It's not a big deal, totally happy with this new lavatube. I have had two that had a burnt taste, Can't remember if they were LR or SR Boge cartos, ended up just tossing those two cartos. Right now, I have a carto, 2.1ohm when I pushed it to 4.2 (where I used to use my old 1.5 lavatube) it starts to taste burnt, been rocking it at 3.9 and it's hitting fine (no lingering burnt taste after the push to 4.2 luckily). Like I said, it may not be the lavatube, could be the cartos (or even the juice?), just wondering if I was the only one, to get a better idea of what has been going on.

I think the 1.5 LT was putting out lower voltage despite showing a higher number. The Young June chrome LT is putting out what it says it's putting out.

My V2 runs quite a bit hotter than my V1. Have had to drop my voltage a bit but its all good. Still loving it, by far the best mod i own.

Can I use Vision CE4 clearomizers on the V2? Would I need an adapter or anything else? I've just purchased my first vv PV, and this V2 looks very nice. I'm set up with CE4 clearomizers right now (tons of 'em), and would like to continue to use those until I branch into other cartos/tanks, etc.

Never thought when I began vaping at the end of May that I'd be this far into it. I've located several great juices, chargers, eGos and eGo type batteries, a couple of passthroughs, and a vv which is on its way. The V2 would be more powerful than anything I have right now. I've been slightly piling supplies of everything for whatever eventuality...power outages, FDA, etc. I'm not saving any money right now (will break even around the New Year, but vaping sure beats sitting here in a cloud of smoke and having everything, including myself, smell so bad

I no longer worry about being low on, or having make a run for cigarettes. So freeing.

Not sure be anything exclusive, just told the rep what it would take to have best vaping experience possible what the device should be able to do he passed it on to there engineers told me few days ago there working on it now.
