We just opened 2 packs of Dual Coil for photography purposes... removed the wrapping.. etc... so we can't sell it. We have not used them at all, just simply took them out of the wrapping and took 2 photos.. .oh what a waste :) But our waste, is your gain.

510th post gets a 5 pack sent to them free plus a Premium tobacco or Minty Menthol.

Don't forget, you are responsible for knowing about this prize and notifying me via PM that you are the 510th poster. You have 48 hours to notify me after posting the 510th post. If prize goes unclaimed, we will offer it again later.

Want to see the pics we just took? Click on the Dual Coil product page in case you are curious :)

My hubby's little ol' rat terrier isn't doing to well today. He's almost 15 but arthritis has set in on him and he's been limping around. I gave him a deep rub around his hips and it seemed to help some. I hate seeing the little guy hurting.

His favorite toy is a frisbee..ooppss...I mean the 10 frisbees that are here in the house. He knows where I keep them and will sit and cry until I get a new one down for him to attack. In his younger years, he would jump and catch the darn things. If no frisbee was available, because we forgot to take one outside, he would find a flat rock for someone to throw but we wouldn't allow that. Now-a-days, we gently toss one for him because he's not as fast as he used to be...but then again who is. He's still a puppy at heart and still looks like one other than he's getting grey in the face...kinda like he stuck his face in a bag of powdered donuts.

I don't like peas. Once when we were on vacation visiting friends in Arkansas my Grandma's friends served peas for dinner. My sister was sitting next to me and proceeded to shovel peas onto my plate. She said, "here have some peas Danielle, her have some more peas, here have some more peas Danielle". So since we were guests for dinner I couldn't not eat any. So, although I love mashed potatoes, I buried the majority of the peas under the mashed potatoes. So sad to have to sacrifice the yummy potatoes!

I love movie theater popcorn. One time my husband and I went to the drive ins (when they still had them in So Cal) and I asked for a lot of butter on my popcorn. I used my normal description, "I want a lot of butter, just not swimming in it. Well I took a couple bites on the way back to the car and it was covered in butter. My hubby took a couple napkins and put them over the top of the bucket and proceeded to pour out at least a full cup of butter flavoring. The girl must of thought I said, "swimming in butter". That was good for a lot of laughs!

New Years Resolution: I want to do more for the homeless animals in my area.
Would like to be a foster parent for some... but hubby says no.:glare:

Yay for you Karen. Boo for your husband. =)

I would like to do something about the feral cat problem out here but my wife keeps making me put the 12 gauge away!!!

Just kidding (maybe;)) - but I do love birds!!!

Ripple, the way to take care of feral cats is to show (see, I'm being nice by saying "show") your shotgun to the people who throw their animals away or don't bother having them neutered or spayed and just let them wander. Of course that behavior usually results in the "throwing" out of the female cats. You know I love my birds too but you blame the wrong species.

I guess I should make this my first post now.

I want to read more books and watch less TV... problem is I can't seem to get any motivation to pick up the books.
