Why don't you just get the variable volt PV that has no stacked batteries and lasts 21+ hour on a charge and has a regulated boost circuit. That would definitely solve the problem.

I doubt they'll build a booster into that switch unless it's a radical redesign.. 18650 IMRs could do it but why? Since it's a removable battery unit anyway, I repeat, they'll just stack the batteries. Why is everyone even talking about a booster for it? Adjustable regulator for stacks maybe. Booster... doubt it.
The Darwin. It also has a "regulated boost circuit" so your last inhale is exactly the same as your first even after 21 hours of vaping. And it has the ability to sense the resistence change in your atty/carto as you vape and then automatically adjusts the power output to match your initial setting. Plus a 2 year full warranty at no charge.
As far as I know the people who make the NoEgo are working on a VV switch working with 2 stacked 18350 bats, regulating it down to whatever you like. Thats why I bought one of them, and what I am waiting for.
The NoEgo guy, Romaniac, is a great guy to deal with, who is making efforts with some other members of ECF to make this possible.
