Yes there are just a few of us left. Took me awhile to find my way to the computer. I had to have my neighbor help me open up the box to my plasma tank. BTW it came with a 30ml bottle of Wyoming's best ejuice. Tonight is jigsaw puzzle night 30 piece puzzle.

But a firmware update solving the flickering screen issues
Humble apologies Ping. I forget the 'elder' generation is also represented here! (said SR as he cracked himself up!)
YES! DITTO! I've been meaning to contact ProVape about that, to see if they were at least able to identify what changed in the firmware that caused that issue. It's the one thing that makes an otherwise excellent product, feel just a little bit cheap.
I thnk he just called us old Ping...
I think he just called us old Ping...
If I am remembering correctly, John sees the flickering more so because of his field of work. He is more sensitive to that phenomenon.Oh. I was wondering because my screen does not flicker. It's version 37 though.

Us mere mortals cannot detect it or not enough to faze us.![]()
I have mine turned off completely. I don't like seeing the light every time I vape. Plus, I don't have to worry if the display is shining its bright light when I am attempting to stealth vapeYes Robin. You are correct. John can see this, but I certainly can not. And I suspect most of us can't. Besides, I don't really look at the display much and I have it timed to turn off the fastest it can.

Rarely do I look at the display for information.
Pretty much the only time I look at the display is when my coil is getting gunky, I need to up the power a bit. I should clean it but I just keep pushing the power to get the coil working more. Hahaha.Honestly, I've gotten to the point that the only thing I look at is the battery percentage. It just works every time I push the button, so I'm not sure what else I need to know.

Most, let me repeat...Stay at v37 - the bug was seemingly introduced in v38. I upgraded from v31 to v38, but others posted here that were on various versions, and v38 caused the issue.
