I'm glad you're doing well with your Russian 91% Stanley. I still think of it as something unique and a bit different than a kayfun Clown. But it's similar enough to vape almost identically, which is to say it vapes fantastic!

I understand R. I just find it funny how people enjoy the complex desert like juices and I find them awful. On my way to our Friday night sushi dinner, I stopped by my Vape Shop, which is on the way and picked up some more Spearmint juice. One of the owners of the shop, who can vape anything he wants, has the same tastes in liquid as I do. He doesn't like any of the complex flavors, nor any desert or fruity juices. He only vapes tobacco flavors.
That's me SR. Tobacco or nothing for me.

I really doubt it. I've tried: Chocolate Chip Cookie; Banana Cream Pie; Apple Pie; Boston Cream Pie; Ginger Cake; Strawberry Shortcake and the list goes on. I haven't like a single one. Not one. I'm just not into vaping deserts. I prefer to eat them. I also tried Pings favorite Five Pawns. Every single one of them. Didn't like them either.

Have you tried Boba's Bounty from Alien Visions? I'm not a big fan of tobacco favors, but Boba's Bounty rocks! I usually make my own liquid, but every so often I'll treat myself with a 30ml bottle of Boba's. They don't specifically say what's in it, but to me it tastes like tobacco with honey, graham cracker, and a hint of banana.

I haven't. I need to taste before I buy, so I'll have to see if anyone in Tampa sells Boba's Bounty.

AV's Bobas is a nice flavor :thumb:

My friends make their Bobas clone with

44% FW East Coast Tobacco
44% FW Graham Cracker
10% FW Toasted Almond
2% FW Cheesecake (for sweetening it)

I gave them a bottle of FW Caramel Candy to try instead of cheesecake
The cheesecake is great on its own but leaves a funky linger after their "Bobas"
I should ask if they brewed a batch with CC yet.

Oh yes, the ProVape Spa was contacted and I had a RMA and everything set to mail in the ProVari after it took a nice swim in the pool toilet. It was given a isopropryl alcohol bath and buried in rice for about 48 hours to hopefully dry it out, but it would not fire, would not turn on afterwards.

I was devastated, Lord Pancake aka Slipper was forgiving, vaping away on his IPV with his Kanger Subtank happily. So I was cleaning the pins, inside and out, getting it ready for it's vacation when it occurred to me to try the battery in it just one more time.

Much to my delight, it has worked ever since.

Wondering how many ProVariae do you have nowadays? Also, Lord P says "howdy"

Howdy back to His Lordship!

I don't recall what version you have, but if it's a 2.5 (or anything current) you don't want to ever give it an isopropyl bath again. ProVape used to recommend them (for those at home: as a last resort, not regular cleaning), but they no longer advise it.

I don't recall either, but I think it is a 2.5. We adopted them in December of 2013. Pic of my Pink Cloud here when it was new. I'm thinking now that some of the color is worn off that it needs a R2D2 wrap perhaps.

Yes, you are correct about the iso bath. I found out by reading the Provape FAQ after the fact. We got lucky this time!

You've never tasted fresh ginger, my dear RB ;)

I married a Japanase girl (like, from Japan), so we eat a lot of ginger. She gets fresh ginger root and uses it in a lot of dishes. Yes, I've had fresh ginger, honey, and lemon tea when sick - tastes great and goes down well. Mmmmm...

My post was unclear, I meant the way the 2.5 or the Classic displays battery level. In any case, do you find the Classic display preferable to the P3%?

Actually I prefer the way the 2.5 does it and shows the current voltage of the battery. But since it doesn't do that my next choice would be the classic display style over the P3 style.

There you go. But do you ever use a fresh root, slice it, with lemon and honey, use it as a cold remedy drink? And I mean fresh ginger root here..

R

I've never tried it, but I know people who eat it fresh when they have an upset stomach.
