Received my Plasma tanks today from Boulder and built a 6 wrap 2.5mm 1.1Ω coil for the Kayfun. Had some difficulty screwing on the tank, though. Finally got everything put together and started vaping....and it was fantastic. I had forgotten how great the flavor is from the KFL+. Then I got my first slightly dry hit - too much cotton. Rewicked and haven't had any issues in 3 hours of vaping. This tank is awesome. Going to have to get another Kayfun and probably the PlasmAir (my wife likes it too, but needs more airflow).

I had a good feeling you would like the Plasma tank. Just seeing the vapor in the chimney is priceless. The cotton needs to be on the deck only if it touches the threads it create a problem screwing the tank on. The flavor is awesome and the best part is how simple it is to change a coil or cotton or refill the tank. Have you removed the air flow screw? It does allow more air to enter the tank.

Ping,

I am so glad I bought this tank - you are absolutely correct, I am really enjoying the Plasma tank! You also nailed my issue with the threading on the tank. Once I shortened the wick, everything worked beautifully. I have removed the AF screw completely. I don't remember the AF being this open on the original tank, but on the plasma tank, it is perfect. The reason I would pick up the PlasmAir would be for my wife, who finds my Kayfun's airflow too restrictive.

It was just a week so so ago I first removed the AF screw on the KFL and just to give it a try after hearing so much talk about extra air flow. I was simply amazed with the quality of the vape and taste. I always liked the plasma tank but since removing the AF screw I have new vape toys to enjoy.
