After skimming through this thread, I made my decision to add at least one P3 to my provari family.

I will mainly use it in shorty mode with my soon to come P3 kabuki... still waiting for that though.

Seeing some had problems with 510 tanks getting stuck in P3/510 beauty ring thingy, I took it off and will only use P3 threaded tanks. Have enough gear for those so why risk it. :)

Not a bad price for retro P3 caps from ProVape!!!

Thanks

a couple of those $30 ProVaris I bought from Mr. ELiquid came with loose boards ... ProVape fixed them under warranty.

seeing as they were already at the Mothership ... I had them P3 topped.

I would strongly suggest the Procyon over the P3. Better board, future proofing for higher wattage requirements if ever needed and around the same price.

I have 2 P3's and would trade them in a second for a Procyon.

Just food for thought....

That will have to come a little later.

Right now, I'm basking in the glow of my brand new, "just received in the mail today" Gorgeous GMZ P3!!! :hubba:

Guys and gals, I spoke with Provape about the awful Deeming Regulations. This was their comment, which Vape360 said I could post:

"We are aware of the FDA regs, but being a 499 page document, there is no way we have been able to digest it all in a busy afternoon. Of course with the big news, all of the support groups like CASAA and SFATA have meetings scheduled in the coming weeks with all members to digest this document once their attorneys have been able to go through it all. It's our initial understanding that the FDA has plans to shutdown 99% of the vape industry as we know it and the only ones that can play will be big tobacco.

If this is the case, then it's hard to say how long ProVape and many other great companies, hardware and liquid will be around. We certainly have to evaluate things and determine our options as we learn more. As always, we love our customers, fans and Vape friends around the world and hope for the best."

This was a very sobering post from Smokey Joe:
OK, I'm tuning out for the rest of the night.

This has been an epic 9 year adventure, but it seems that it's all coming to a close. Very sad days indeed.

We knew this was coming, but now it has, I can't quite believe it.

I signed also ... however, I never got the email verification.

Maybe do it again. I got an email notification immediately. Though I wonder if the fact you're in Cananda and this is to the US White House makes a difference?

I just realized that I have been using my polished silver P3 almost exclusively for over a week.

Weird as I really don't like the shiny sticky finish at all, but it has become my go to mod @ 13W, with a SS Kabuki/SS tank and in 18500 mode.

I have been pretty critical of my two P3's (20W at 0.5ohms isn't reality), but at 10-13W they are working great. Very expensive mods to run at low wattage, but they are reliable and I have had them going on 6 months.... :)
