But as for performance, the absolute best performing mods I own are made by Dicodes from Germany

Thank you for the help!! This is actually the second time I've seen that name come up. I will definitely take a look at it.

After much reflection, I decided that the TC option is a must for me.

Dicodes is the only company other than ProVape wherein I have stockpiled a small mountain of their mods for the coming dark ages.

On stockpiling after FDA deeming regulations (about 6 months old, pile has grown a bit, and added V3s which are same as V2+ but all tubes go to 60watts).

(In my opinion):

#1: Dicodes
#2: ProVari

[Since this is a ProVape forum, please feel free to rearrange position 1 & 2 however makes ya happy ;-) If you don't need TC then they're about same.]

#3: Yihi is not bad, but nothing compelling if you have Dicodes.
#4: DNAs + everything else.

#0: (Optional. But for me, a small mountain of mechs, becuz, everything fails... but there's not much to fail in a metal tube wherein you adjust the output, by how you build the coil(s).)

--: HΩ Wrecker's Insanity/FSK chipset. It's... a brilliant collection of features and tech, kinda, sorta, super-glued together into a mod, but not really ready for primetime or anybody who doesn't like to play endlessly with oddball features. On the upside, they have TC working with kanthal, and have kept right on dropping firmware updates post 8/8 since probably their theory is, what's the FDA gonna do, single them out, fine them, drive them out of business? They've already done that and their business is going away, so f--k it, here's more firmware updates: Hohm Wrecker G2 | Hohm Tech, Incorporated - Hohm Tech, Incorporated

(BTW, seriously *NOT* suggesting the HΩ Wrecker as anything but an interesting chipset/footnote in history which is about to go down the toilet and spiral away into oblivion. If, OTOH you have 50 mods and want to play with an interesting piece of history, go for it; their $180 mod is fire-sale priced at roughly $50.)

In conclusion: OMFG there are only 5 P3 Tis left. Soon there will be no more! (OTOH, next week another 100 tubes may show up in the store, who knows.)

Question for you folks-

Im looking for a box mod that can last a lifetime. I fear that there will come a time when even the cheap chinese mods wont be able to get shipped or sold to the US. (Im already having some issues with vendors not wanting to ship coils, as well as paypal refusing to facilitate payment for them).

Eventually, my $30 chinese mods will stop working and I dont have the know how of putting together circuits, boards or chips to make my own. Money is an issue as I really cant afford the high end box mods, but I am willing to sacrifice a few meals since it will pay off in the long term. Here is the dilemma, I am a bit stuck between the SX Mini ml class and the Radius 60w.

Anyone have both that can chime in on your experiences and preference with either one? Watts are roughly the same. As for upgrades- Considering once you upgrade the Radius to the last update, it will no longer be a user upgradable mod so no real differnce there either. Im leaning towards the SX since it has a real temp control as opposed to "coil control", whatever that means.

I am aware that this is a Provape thread, but any objective thoughts between the 2 on effectiveness and durability?
Radius for sure. For a female, regular vapor , it is perfect in every way. It will last a long time. After 1 year of heavy use, it looks amazing as if it is new. This is the only mod I got that didn't suffer from aging :)) next is Dicode Dani box and P3 sliver.

But now I realised that I have to buy additional parts so I can make my Tilemahos 22mm so it can fit properly. Smaller one went great with V2 mini but I forgot that he is narrower at the top.

O happy day. Realisation part II. :D

I just remembered that when I was buying Tilemahos I wasn't sure which one would fit best for my mini. So I bought 21mm Shined atty but there was at the same time huge discount in one store which stopped selling GG gear and I bought matt tank, base and AC ring for 22mm Tilemahos (other parts fit to all sizes). And few minutes ago I found that parts.

And even better, not just that 22mm will go great with P3, it will also be matt and matching.

If you decide to go DIcodes, I would highly recommend cremedevape.com in Great Britain. Keith (the owner) is without a doubt the most helpful vape person I've run across. He has endless patience in quickly answering stupid questions (trust me, I know this personally). Be aware, you will not have to pay the prices listed as they include the value added taxes which do not apply to us in the USA. Once you set up your account with a US mailing address, from then forward the correct net prices will be shown as long as you're logged in.

Recently I found a US site selling Dicodes but my order from them did not inspire confidence. I got different answers from different salespeople and the shipping was delayed because they took my order for things they didn't have in stock - but showed as available. I got what I wanted but they are about 180 degrees from the great service I've experienced from CDV.

With Brexit, the dollar is stronger against the pound than it has been in years. I've actually bought a couple of things from Keith that were cheaper than I could buy them here even considering the international shipping fees.

Good luck in your quest.

Thats where I found it when researching prices. I looked at the Dani Box since the No 6 would be too big for me. It came out to about 186 pounds ($233) with shipping. Thats going to have to go on my wish list for some time down the road when I can afford it. It really does look like a solid device!

If the Ti P3 I just bought ever breaks ... I'll turn it into a Ti 2.5

A few of the 20$ blow out V2.5's I bought were for the boards, in case any of my Ti V2.5's ever need some TLC down the road. ;) if that ever happens they will definitely be slant top too :)
