I knew I saw you and Charlie last night. There was this plume of vapor and it was coming from a P3. Yes it was!!

While there were still some smokers lighting cancer sticks, they stayed on the outside fringes. At least they were being respectful of non-smokers. What was interesting was seeing how many were vaping right in the middle of it. Tampa after all, is the number 2 vape Friendliest City in America! Yes it is. So, in anticipation of getting my new Trippy Tips Plasma tank, which will be waiting for me when I get home from work tomorrow nigh (I have to admit I'm really excited about this!), I am moving flavors between the Russian 91% and Kayfun. I've already cleaned out the Russian completely and re-wicked her and put the juice I'll be using in her. She's firing just great! And I've taken the Kayfun apart, thrown the coil and wick out, cleaned it completely and will build a new coil and have it wicked in anticipation of the Plasma Tank.

I'm toying with the notion of building a coil at 2.5mm as opposed to 2mm. My thought is it will let me put more cotton in and will look cooler in the Plasma Tank. My question is to those more experienced at coil building than moi, what are your thoughts on 2mm vs 2.5mm in coils? My hope is a 6 wrap coil with 28 gauge Kanthal at 2.5mm will translate to about 1.5 ohm?

6 wraps of 28ga @ 2.5mm = 1.066.
8 wraps of 28ga @ 2.5mm = 1.383.
8.5 wraps of 28ga @ 2.5mm = 1.463

Yep, I figured this out, but by trial and effort, i.e., I had to make more than 1 coil. But hey, it's a learning experience right?!
