ROFLMAO! I think you're safe!
It sure was. Tampa was hot in 1P and the last two or three minutes of 3P (especially with the xtra attacker). But the Hawks really clamped down on them in-between.Be thankful the 3rd period wasn't 21 minutes long. The last 3 minutes was a onslaught by Tampa.
There's a woman in the tailor shop just WAITING to meet ya...
From what I've read so far, I feel sorry for her. According to reports not mentioned in most of the articles:
- Prior to working at the prison, she worked on an assembly line sewing slippers. When the company closed, she joined a friend who was already working in the prison tailor shop.
- Richard Matt was reported to be a diligent worker. While other inmates slacked off, he supposedly spent extra time on details like sewing hems and pockets. I can imagine, over time, him having conversations with her about sewing...the guy is said to be charming and a master of manipulation.
- Mitchell's daughter-in-law said Matt had an interest in art and that her MIL may have contacted people on his behalf regarding his artwork.
- According to a prison employee, Matt was a good artist. He often drew...get this...Oprah. Apparently, he has a whole portfolio of Oprah drawings. She seems like as odd subject, until you consider he may have been trying to develop a friendship with a middle-aged woman who used to work in a slipper factory. I'll bet he didn't start drawing Oprah until after he decided Mitchell was a potential sucker.
- Someone tipped LE about Mitchell very early on, maybe even herself. How else could it be determined so quickly that Matt had used her phone.
- I don't see her bringing power tools into the prison under her coat, but perhaps she didn't report him when he was gone for 20 minutes getting thread. He's a nice guy, right? He draws Oprah. I know there is a guard (more than once I've read a guard) overseeing the shop, but it sounds like fairly large operation and it might be too big for one guard to keep track of everyone.
- Matt likely flirted with her and he had all the time in the world to work it. She may have been enamored, flattered or perhaps just felt like he was a kindred spirit. Her kids are grown, she's still stuck working in a factory and her husband (who also works at the prison, but I haven't read in what capacity) probably doesn't pay much attention to her...much like being in a prison, Matt might say. Maybe he told her they would run away together.
- In any case, I'm currently of the impression (which, of course, could change) that she's not the sharpest needle in the tailor shop and got used.
I have no doubt whatsoever that she was extraordinarily well-manipulated. I have seen, personally, how good some inmates can be at bending people to their will, by charm, money, violence, or a combination of the three. What I do not have sympathy for is allowing two convicted murderers to escape. You don't take a job at a prison without an understanding of the people you're dealing with. From what I've read so far, I feel sorry for her. TO, I took this pic for you. It's now my 4th day vaping on the Plasma Tank, and I have vaped pretty heavily as the flavor is just great. The wick is showing no signs of darkening. I can see a little gunk starting to build on the top of the coil itself. But there's no degradation of flavor at this point.

Dammit. Glad I have AppleCare on my iPad... That's TWICE today.Current reports claim she will be charged. It's the ex-husband who says she cheated (with the guy she is currently married to).
"Asked if it was possible if the woman he knew as “Tillie” could have fallen, as police suspect, for convicted killer Richard Matt, Premo quickly agreed. "Well, of course," he said outside his home in Massena, N.Y. "If you look at the pattern. She's 51. I thought maybe her sex drive would be gone and she wouldn't do that."
No wonder she left him.

I agree, but do outside contractors have any kind of training to pick up cues they are being targeted?
Even if they can't tell they're being targeted, a reasoned mind would know it's against the law and dangerous to innocent people to help a convicted ruthless killer get out of prison.
Great pic RB...what gauge Kanthal, coil ID (form diameter), Ohm reading, wattage setting, VG/PG ratio are you using?TO, I took this pic for you. "Reasoned mind" is the operative term. I'm not making excuses for her or suggesting she not be held accountable for her actions, I'm just conjecturing how events may have developed.
