The K4 definitely has more parts, thus more places that could possibly develop a leak as compared to the R91%. But after using both for a few weeks, I'm leaning towards the K4 as my favorite.

If you're not having any issues then yes the K4 is right for you, but I'm reading 100's of posts about the juice control is stuck open or closed, leaks from some numbered screw, etc. I'm too old to spend time buying extra parts and dealing with leaks.

The only leaks I've experience have been my own fault and not the K4. One of my K4's I bought from ProVape and it came with the P3 base, which I had to install. I didn't tighten the a9 screw as tight as it should have been, but that's fixed now. I've since found that by taking the K4 completely apart and lubing all of the o-rings with PG, and putting a light coat of Chapstik on the a4 and a7 seals, the juice Control turns as smooth as butter.

Looking at the exploded parts diagram you'd think that it's a very complicated device. Well in a way it is, but once you get a grasp on how all the pieces work together it's a very elegant design. I'd be willing to bet that those who are having issues with the Juice Control are using clones, but they just don't want to admit it. Because if they are using an authentic K4, why are they posting about it in a forum and not talking to the people at SvoeMesto?

I have to agree with you about the clones as I've notice many clone owners posting in the the SvoeMesto K4 thread.

Also as long as you remember one thing about cats.... No to a cat means not while you're looking...

Oh, trust me, we've had cats since we bought our first home in 1980. I'm very well acquainted with "not while you're looking!" Oh yes I am!!

Me either. And while even rasmith said he lean's towards the K4, I'd hope that for a $100+ difference, it would blow a KFL+ out of the water. I'm not denigrating the K4 at all. But it would have to be much better for me to justify the price difference.

Uh, so I shouldn't publicly announce I just ordered a K4? Huh? Um, just kidding! For the record, SR has not ordered a K4. No, he hasn't. I do think a 2nd KFL+ and a 2nd Plasma Tank are likely in the future though.......

I've noticed that as well... Several months ago I had bought a KFL+ clone and I wasn't impressed at all. So needless to say I was kind of leery when I bought the K4. But after getting it ready and I vaped it for the first time, right then and there I swore that I'd never buying another clone.

Just for curiosity's sake I even tried that clone again after getting the first R91%. Thought that maybe it was me and that I had not done something right the first time. Well I sure did find out what I did wrong, that was buying a clone in the first place.

People can buy clones, no skin off my nose, but it makes it hard to determine if the problems they are having are actually a problem with the design or the clone. This makes those gigantic kfl threads, or whatever, useless for troubleshooting, or even figuring out if an atty is worth buying or not.

Kinda defeats the purpose of having a thread in the first place.

I've got 3 Kayfun's 4s, no leaks and no problems with any of them (other than initially dis-assembling the thing, wherein some parts, are insanely over-tightened some of the time). If people are experiencing problems I'd guess it comes down to not putting it back together correctly or using a clone. While it's certainly possible that people with real Kayfun 4s are having issues, I haven't encountered any so far personally.

There is some truth to this. Hard to determine if the person is having a build problem or gear problem.

I have to agree with you about the clones as I've notice many clone owners posting in the the SvoeMesto K4 thread.
The clone owners who post in the authentic threads are lying to themselves.
If all they own is a clone, they do NOT own a Kayfun v4...no matter how well they swear it works.
Owning a clone, and parading around as if you have the real thing is like saying you've got a basket of apples, when all you really have is a basket of wax apples...or sometimes just a picture of a basket of apples.
Anyway...my point is: Add the clone owners to your IGNORE list, and enjoy your basket of apples without their rabble!
