I've been around too long to know that manufacturers lie about their products and it isn't just batteries. Watch any advertisement of just about any product and you know they are fluffing their specs. I'm skeptical about all advertised specifications on all products. If I'm buying a battery for my provari I am going with Provape's recommendation and that's all I'm using the battery for. Should efest sell what they advertise? Absolutely! And it's good people hold their feet to the fire. But to lambaste Provape for this is out of bounds as far as I'm concerned and how I read your original post. What's next, holding Provape responsible for making sure the solder they use isn't made in a country that has no child labor laws? Provape tested the efest battery for their product and approved it. That's good enough for me. Anything beyond this and you enter the world of buyer beware....just like any other product.
Thank goodness! No lambs were basted, nor any other animals harmed, in the making of a Provari.

- Damn, I knew I was forgetting to tell you all something. In every Provari, we put some bacon taco shell crumbs. That's the secret to those buttery smooth threads and its the main ingredient in the lube.![]()
Jackie is sleeping or I would ask her directly so forgive me if I get this all wrong. She has a Kayfun V4. Before getting our P3's she used it on her ProVari Mini. The decision to get a P3 was she expressed a desire to use her K4 with a P3. Early Christmas present and of course I needed one for myself to get to know so I could advise her on the use of hers...
Anyway, it connected perfectly to her V2 Mini with no problem whatsoever. With the P3, she had to adjust the center pin on the K4 as it was not making a connection. Last week I had the brilliant idea of using up my prepunched tank cartos by using a carto tank on my P3. I had to, "pull the post" on the carto as it did not make a connection. Aside from the nuances of carto tanks, it worked fine after that (well, the connection did.)
She's using the 510 connector, btw.
Welcome or welcome back! I'm just butting in and free associating (so I apologize if I'm wrong about this), but I know I read something about a member having problems with a connection - not screwing it down was okay, but tight there was a problem. I'm sorry I can't be more specific, my memory is often fragmented. It might not even be the same issue, but there was something about loose vs. tight...
I might have the details wrong, but someone here should remember.
There was an issue a while back concerning the stud on the original sub tank beauty ring being too long on some and over compressing the o ring on the center pin of the p3. The pin wouldn't come back out and make contact with other tanks. I was able to gently lift mine, others have done so also. Hope that helps
If we made a 200 watt device
I completely agree...would only do this with a new version AW 18350. But if you were to try and do it with the Efest, wouldn't the P3 6.5 amp limit kick in before you hit 20W/7A?With that said, I would NOT recommend using the Efest 18350 at 20W on a P3. With the 3V cutoff, and assuming a 96% device efficiency, 20W would be pulling 7A from the Efest 18350 (as found on ProVape's website).

Thanks Robin coming from you means a lot.
I'm telling you Ping. If you quit us, I'll have to not only resign as Sir Rod, Master of Lube, but leave as well. Do you want that on your conscience? Well, do you??

My Ms. Lot, the major vape meets are like brick & mortars on steroids. Bring a mask. And a fan.
My last large event was ECC. We were evacuated when the vapor set off the smoke alarms.
It's a BIT vapey at these meets.
Oh! I just discovered VapeCon West is this weekend. I missed the one last year. It's funny, but I used to dream of being able to go to a vape meet; now, not so much. We have a high-end vape shop in town, but I rarely go in there. There is so much vapor you can't see your hand in front of your face. Despite the chants of "it's not smoke!" it's not oxygen either and I get lightheaded. I have a feeling vape meets aren't that different.
I dragged Charlie to the Tampa Convention Center for this year's Vape Convention. I felt like a duck out of water, that's for sure. While it was interesting and often times hard to see inches ahead of you, I didn't buy anything and don't think I'll need to go again. It was mainly out of curiosity. It's definitely geared to cloud chasers.
