I find a business card sized space between the Kabuki and the Ti. Completely agreeing with the Bronzed One's take on the matter, I have found my own fix for gaposis. Granted, it's not for everyone.

Every time I would drop my V2 I would say to whoever was around, "Good thing it's a ProVari!" Two nights ago, I'm not sure how it happened, my P3 went flipping out of my hand, hit the edge of a iron frying pan and landed on the stovetop with such a loud slam, Jackie let out a yelp. I picked it up and said, "Good thing it's a ProVari!" Jackie chuckled. We say that a lot, "Good thing it's a ProVari!"

I thought Provape mentioned they changed their P3 springs awhile back. Don't wager any money on that though because my recollection is rather weak. Of course any new spring will feel stronger.

They did...the P3 Beta had a smaller spring (similar to the P2.5 spring) that was changed to a larger one for the P3 production models.

While the IQ was not as good, it wasn't all that bad either.

Nothing to get hung about as The Beatles sang.

I'm getting dents in batteries from that ginormous spring.

I may just switch over at some point if it becomes a problem.

I think the big spring is more about flat top batteries than anything else.

All kidding aside, what batteries are you getting dents in? We use the AW IMR's and I use a Samsung 25R and I haven't noticed any dents. Are the dents very noticeable? I'm going to take a closer look a couple of AW's. Hold on, I'll be right back.

Ok, I'm back. I looked/am looking at 2 AW's and the Samsung 25R (flat-top.) The Samsung's bottom is totally flat, no perceived difference. The Aw's, it's actually kind of hard to tell since I don't have one that's never been used to compare them to. It's so minor it could be the way the batteries are made or they could be slightly caved. The bottoms aren't as flat as the Samsung.

I'm noticing some indentation on the AWs.

Nothing major.

Just checked my AW's that get used in my P3's, both 18490 & 18650...not seeing any indentations or scratching at all.

I would think it has more to do with the tension of the spring, as opposed to the size. I got a nasty dent in a battery from one of my Reos before I fixed it.

"...don't have the heart" my badunka-dunk. You laughed for about 10 minutes straight. You could barely breathe, and I thought I was going to have to call 911. I'm still scarred from the impact. I'll never eat quiche again.

And no, people, I wasn't serious. I did it JUST to get the reaction from her that I knew would come. And it was SO worth it.
