Thank you, jwb! So the P3 blink is a wimpier blink, eh? A lethargic blink. That is, until you get to v38, then it's robust for a minute, you vape, then robust again.

I'm still not sure what all the issue is. I love that Provi lets me know when it's time. No other mods (of mine) do. They just quit, bah-bye. No kiss, no hug, no naaaathing.
I actually like that about my V2.5...

It's like perfect vape, then what the heck?!?

Oh, battery is dead. Good Provi!!!

Hi all, I hope you don't mind the intrusion. I'm new to ECF, but have been lurking for quite awhile. I've been vaping for over a year, and have already adopted a few 2.5s, P3s, and just pre-ordered a Radius. I'm addicted! I've followed this thread for awhile and feel like I know a few of you already. This feels like a comfy, safe place. Hope you don't mind if I join in here and there.

Yes, dear one, I get that. Tis annoying to some to change a blinking batt. Perhaps it's the middle of the nite, or the middle of a road trip. Mine (2s and 2.5s) do that as well. I think I'm asking why this became an issue with the P3? And if it's different than the older Provis.

On the 2.5 you get variable blinkage depending on how low that last pull dropped the battery.

If you just hit the cut off, you will get a slow blink. That's around 3.5V left.

If you have gone a bit deeper into the battery reserve it will be a pretty rapid blinking.

That's closer to 3.3-4V or even sometimes down below that a bit.

I think Ocie is talking about the other blink issue which occurs with ver 37.

I didn't get the upgrade, so with mine it blinks and is dead. No drag or two while I look for a new battery, just blinking and no power.

Only if you have Lo turned on.

Otherwise, no blinky until it's dead.

I like no blinky!!!

Right. Same here. ver 36 does that. maybe a tiny blink or two then C'est La Mort.

Careful, jwb. Let's just keep that here..... and quiet.

Otherwise all other threads will be klammoring for variable blinkage mods.

As DPL always says........ it's the first "V" that kounts.

Ok, caught up with my 2 favorite threads...

As for the blinking lo-bat lite on the P3 (v38), if it came on at 5-8% (or could be adjusted/turned off), I'd be ok with that. But 18% is just too soon IMO. I know I could change the battery then but what's the point? ProVape has decided that the battery still has 18% capacity left...and I want to use it all (or at least most of it)! :2c:

I'm hoping that the blacked-out button on the P3 Stealth Ti means no lo-bat blinking lite...won't know until the end of the month when my buddy arrives with mine.

Happy Hump Day All !!

I have a 2.0 (which for Stealth would be a 1.0) and a 2.5 mini Stealth. Neither blink, since the button is opaque. I imagine the P3 version is the same.

Thanks very much for the confirmation! I can't wait to get my hands on the Stealth Ti. It arrives on Halloween! :)

V39 will be a strobe light blinking :)
Nooooo, anything but that. I'd have to skip that upgrade for sure! If they want us to change the batteries at the 18% mark, just recalibrate the meter so it shows 'empty' at that point. :thumb:
