Good morning peeps. I'm off to the bank as someone has ripped off my debit card number. Fraud protection called me yesterday about some declined charge attempts. They were online type purchases and used the wrong 3 digit code. The first question I asked if the attempts were made from CT. Sorry DP you came to mind first.

Sorry Ping. Credit Fraud is awful. Charlie had his wallet stolen a few years ago, and within 45 minutes they had racked up $5K in purchases at Best buy and another $5K at Sears. They even had surveillance footage of the thief, but never did anything to find him. Fortunately, it didn't cost us anything, but knowing this guy got away with $10K in minutes still makes me mad. Yes it does.

I've always respected you for your wisdom, Ping. And your comment here simply cements that respect.

Seriously though - sorry to see this. I hope/expect it gets worked out very quickly for you. :(

At least the banks are getting good at detecting this and shutting down thieves quickly. Sounds like yours was right on top of it, hope you aren't on the hook for any of this.

Wonder where they went?

They returned the thousand that Willy put in his cart.

I saw that ... you can only put 3 in a cart.

But yes, there is a few for sale :)

The black mini is the best stock Provari.

They learned their lesson and fixed the site. They now set the limit to three.

I blame it on the nightmares while sleeping on your defective futon. Your name just happen to be on the top of my list. :thumb:

Now that would be the deal of the century. :thumb:

All's well in Pingville now. I was a bit in panic mode as yesterday my pension, my wife's pension and her SS went into our account yesterday. Any large purchase I make on the internet is with my Discover charge. I use my debit for small purchases, which now may change.

I would change using your debit card for anything other than taking money from your bank's ATM. We no longer use it for anything else.

I know some of you in here like a good drink so I'm sharing a recent new flavor addition. Totally Vaped out has a hard cocktail line. Angels share is a really good vanilla whisky and Irish is a really good Irish cream. Both are smooth and flavorful. RB you might like these since they aren't overly sweet and the liqueur flavor is prominent

Hmm, I'm not much into alcohol of any kind, but I'd sure be interested in tasting these if given the chance. Thanks for the alert!

Loud thinking - the P3 connection on a Ti won't break your hip. It will just remove the press-fit connector from the tube.
That's a weak spot. Titanium doesn't hold together as well as SS. Recently I've had to hammer it back in too often...

That's why I think the Steel ProVi's are tougher.

Ti is a great mat'l in a lot of ways, but it won't take a beat-down like Steel will.

People with Ti Bikes are all like, "Oooh my bike is indestructable..."

Aah... no it's not. Just superlight and pretty strong for the weight.

Advantages, disadvantages, everything's got 'em.

Apart from that - a great mod.
