I'm starting to feel comfortable with the "elitist" vapors in here! I like the finer things in life, and I find no reason to settle for less in my vape gear.

BUT - one thing will never change: I'm a dog lover!

That's OK.......He/She's adorable and at least you're an animal lover. You're still A-OK in my book!

I knew that

Just click on the Provape button on the top of the thread to jump to the Main Area of the Provape forum. It has it's own thread... oh hell, here it is P3 Cleaning Guide
Merci buttercups!

ETA: Isn't there some need to use a cotton swab with alcohol somewhere inside the tube? Somehow I thought I was s'posed to do more than clean and No Ox the threads. No?

You clean the little battery contact inside.

TY. Not to belabor, but isn't there also something about a pencil eraser? As I said, it's been awhile.

Not necessary. TO is correct. Just take a wee bit of 99.9% Alcohol and wipe off the battery contact in your P3 Tube. Be gentle. No need to rub or push hard.

Generally, you swab it with a Q-Tip and alcohol. If it still doesn't look clean, I rub it with an eraser, then swab it again.

ETA: Just to clarify, I was referring to the inside battery contact, not the 510. I use an ink eraser.

A PEN eraser is a good tool to use on your 510/P3 positive pin, after juice has been in contact with it and it's tarnished and possibly even has some built-up on it. Pen erasers are abrasive, so when the alcohol doesn't work, use the eraser. Be careful with the alcohol on the positive pin though - don't use so much it drips down the sides and contacts the o-ring. Alcohol will dry it out and cause it to crack, letting juice get by and making the 'adjustable' pin stick. Alcohol + rubber = bad.

Alcohol doesn't always get the build up off the positive post in the top cap. Once in awhile I will use a pencil eraser and spin it around (back and forth) and it will remove the build up. Just don't jam the pencil in there. Mild pressure is all you need. Shines it up like new.
