Got my P3's updated to 20! --- oops --- 39

I took the scenic route up and down a windy road through the hills of the Santa Monica Mountains and then a lovely drive by the ocean to this new to me store that does the service. Not a bad way to spend a couple hours or so on a Saturday afternoon.

To my surprise, it's not just a turn on or off for the blinking light. One can pick off, 1, 5, 10, 20 -- and I'm assuming that is for % of battery remaining.

EDIT -- My assumption appears to be wrong. It appears to be on or off only at this point. Trying to determine what the 1,5,10 and 20 choices do. :(

I'm curious about the potential for more efficient use of battery that has been mentioned by others. Sound great to me.

I got my P3 updated today as well. I just haven't had the time to play around with it. I love the idea of that light at 17% going away. 5% or even 10% makes a huge difference to me. At 17% I can still vape for a while. At 5%, I need to find a charger or do a battery swap.

Thanks for that info tearose, I really want that update now, so I can pick 5%, I only want to know when it's ready to quit.

As far as I know AW IMR's are totally fine with the P3 and many of us use them with it. Some use the newer 3000 mAh version and some the earlier ones. Both flat tops and nipple tops work with the P3.

I'll let some of the battery geeks talk about the differences....but it would have something to do with mAh and amp level.

I believe flat tops are strongly suggested for the Radius and ProVape provides a Samsung with each mod.

Do you mean v39, not 20? 20 is the Radius update IIRC. My P3 is at v39.

Can anyone tell me how to adjust the battery warning light adjustment? I can't find it for the life of me and ProVape didnt update the online Manual.

I've seen others suggest you can change the battery to blink at intervals lower than 17%. I have not found that. What I did find and have chosen, is to turn off the low battery warning altogether.

Settings > LED > Battery > On or Off

Turn it off and you'll no longer have the constant blinking when you hit 17% or below.

If there's a setting one can program where it blinks at 5% for example, I certainly haven't found it.

For many of us, looking at pics of Provari's can be more stimulating than porn!

I wouldn't go that far RB.

Guys I noticed on provape website that their recommend Samsung batteries for p3 and radius. I just spent a bomb on a bunch of aw imrs. What's the impact on using aw imrs rather than the samsungs on the p3?

I use the AW 3000 mah battery in my Radius and it goes several days before needing a charge and no issues with my Radius.

Thank you. Turning off is better than 17%.

I checked everywhere I could think of and couldn't find that either. Wish I could find it as 5% would be ideal for me.

I'm not convinced that setting exists. If someone has found it, I hope they'll post it. For me though, off works great!
