What is that in between the Precise and the Reactor?

has anyone's precise gotten very hot? I was running a dual wicks and coil on mine and after chain vaping a bit the button got too hot to touch. I'm also very new to the precise and would like to polish mine, can any one give me some tips for polishing.

Sounds like your atomizer is shorting out. This usually occurs when the rubber insulator in your atomizer compresses down, allowing the center pin of your atomizer to make contact with the body of the atomizer, thus causing a short. The button gets hot because when you short out, the electrical path is through the button. Replace atomizer with new, being careful not to overtighten, with the Rhodium contacts, you don't need an overly tight connection to make good contact.

I don't recommend taking a satin finished PrecisePlus and removing the satin finish by polishing, though some have. The wall diameter is very thin where the top cap threads are machined in and when removing the satin finish, you have to take a few thousandths off of material, which isn't really polishing, it's turning it down. A few "polishes" like that and you'll wear through to the threads and ruin it. If its already a polished one, just use a cream type polish and cloth, not a orbital tool or grinder/buffer which can remove too much material.

Those ordering a P+ can always order it with No finish whatsover, just as raw machined and then polish it, much less risk.

I have seen so many pics here with the reactor tanks on Precisions. they look just great, like they were made for them. Hard to find out how well they work tho. Seems like there is a bad review for every good one. Lovely pics every one. Really helped a lot in deciding to get a P+.

This is pretty common with any product that can have a steep learning curve :2c: A lot of the negative reviews I've seen have been early reviews based on the original dual coil attys they used, the single coil ones released shortly after the first run are a drastic improvement. I agree that it makes a good-looking match for the P+

Thanks guys. Had a nice PM conversation with Vaptamist as well and he helped fill in some of the finer points. Between the 3 of you, I have a pretty good picture of what to expect. I think i am going to pick up satin one with blue before long. I appreciate the info!

Cool! Once you get the filling method down, its very quick and gets you back to clouds of vapor within 15-20 seconds.

Yeah, its a pretty nice setup. Vapes really well and it has the style points too!

I just went through two tanks today and I am happy to report that its not leaking and still running very well. About every 30 draws, you should do a quick non fired draw to pull some more juice in the atty, otherwise you might get the dry nasty hit. I can usually tell when its coming, but I just do the quick draw by habit at this point.

Also, it will get you the last drop of juice ;)

Snork can we get a measurement of the overall length?........

Measured with a digital micrometer purchased at Super-T (blatant shilling exposed) my shorty contoured tip, a Mark-T Infinity, a Kiklet, and a P+ 18650 was 19.312cm or 7 39/64 inches long.
