Congrats!

Thanks Raqball. I think I might try something cheap like the igo s or a mini rda for the moment until I can figure out a nice compact tank setup for it.

anyone have any suggestions? I'm actually looking for something for the simplicity and my magneto.

I did see someone post a 15mm ibtanked setup, doc dave mini micro, and diver rba/ibtanked setup, but I am still too new to really understand what ea of them are exactly

That looks Sweet! Might be a little long for my taste though. I will look into it.

Hey no teasing with the ELA!

I did get some good news from Amanda@ Super T though. I will have to keep my eyes open. She said they hope to start another run sometime in January after they get caught up on all the other orders of the ELA's.

So I just may be able to pick one up sooner than expected without the price gouges on the FS threads.

My second favorite atomizer in the world is the Spheroid. I just got finished rebuilding one for my 14500 and it's truly awesome. I used doubled over 2mm silica, 29 gauge Kanthal with 6 over 5 wraps. Ended up at 1.2 ohms. Next time I'll do one more wrap for 1.2 is a little low for me. Lately I've discovered I was a little stupidly obstinate for sticking to 32 gauge wire just because it's what I had.
At any rate, the Spheroid is also a little long but it's a perfect, easy, WONDERFUL atomizer for a 14500. They're fairly often available at retail and used. Used prices pretty close to retail, if you can find one for <$100 it's a bargain.

If you ever need any 'fluff' for the Spheroid let me know as I have enough Sera wool to last 63 people 14 lifetimes...
Me too. In fact when I rebuilt this one I got the fluff out and it was still in perfect shape after like 3 months. No need to even replace it, but I did just because of that bag of fluff sitting there taking up space.

IDK if this was some sort of trick.... I knew that was the site that has the Poldiacs

same goes for Snork....I've already been eyeballing that paps x

Those are 2 mods I have been eyeballing besides the ELA.....Dang you guys, lol....I will keep you posted, but this is not promising. Once again I appreciate the recs on atty's. That is what I am currently researching

Edit: Luckily the paps x is oos :p, but the poldiac isn't:(

time to get back on track...atty's...atty's...atty's

If you want a looker that won't break the bank, try an IGO-S with an aftermarket cap (I think they're made by CapItAll). You can get it to 16 or 17mm diameters, you can choose brass, and I think custom airhole diameters are included.

Funny you mention the igo-s, because i have one coming. I did not know that you could get different caps for them though. Also I am not sure that is the setup I want but it was cheap. I am still very new to vaping, and equipment. I have been doing a lot of research and it is straining my brain; there are so many options.

I do not know what the difference in vaping is from a dripper? (igo-s/igo-w style) compared to something like a carto tank setup or doc dave, etc

I currently use an igo-w on my magneto but I am not too sure how much I really like it. I know the igo-s will be a similar experience; then maybe I have something setup wrong. when I use the tank style setups at the shop to test flavors, they give me a better vaping experience than what I am getting from my current setup.

I'm actually looking for something small for the 14500 and reg size and my list keeps growing for research.

When it comes to flavor, all things being equal (mostly power), I'd say that chamber size and coil length are the most important. But that's my opinion. And my opinion is beside the point. My point is that your opinion is all that matters.

My girlfriend's IGO-S (on a Twist, single coil 32 gauge 1.5 ohms 4.0 volts) gets a much more subtle and satisfying flavor profile than my IGO-W (ELA, dual coil 32 guage 1.0 ohms 13 watts). For her, flavor level is perfection and the vapor levels are ideal. For me, my setup gets a more intense flavor, more throat hit, more vapor, and epic levels of gut-level satisfaction. But that's an opinion she and I reached through much research and experimentation.

As my girlfriend was seeking that vape-shop-flavor-bar subtlety and has found it with the IGO-S, I'd say that your order was the right choice. I'll be the first to admit that a well set up IGO-S will be able to make more flavors taste as they should (i.e. good :)) than a dual coil IGO-W. Perhaps because of the tiny little chamber concentrating all of the flavors. But I wasn't looking for subtlety. I was looking for power enough to transform me into a dragon. :)

[As a disclaimer, I have experimented more with drippers than tanks, although I've owned a Terminator-C and Ithaka. I can't help with this dilemma.]

What I know for a fact, though, is that my Super-T ELA is the best mod I've ever used. I'm convinced that I will use it until I lose it.

I hope this helps.
