I should have googled first and then posted. You beat me to it NCC and your calculations appear to be correct. Off to search for p16 cases. And it looks like 48 gauge and 54 gauge are common sizes for the cases. Also, one that holds two cigars is called a "two fingered" case. Thanks for the info NCC

I will do a search thanks
That's because cigars are usually thicker than 31rg. Smallest cigar I have seen are Panatela type cigars. They are usually 34rg-38rg. That is only 1.2 mm wider than the P10. You dont want a case that you have to squeeze the P10 in there. Just my 2 cents.

For sure, adding a notch or two on the RG scale might be better, especially if it means getting a more common RG size. Wouldn't want to go too high though and make it sloppy loose. And, it may stretch a bit with use.

P18 is going strong.

Silky button, sleek looks.

Would never befoul it w/a MAP tank. Just a dripper.

Cant believe how much thinner it is than my Silver Bullet.

I am liking the bottom button position but think it may be better w/a top button so you could hold it between middle and index finger (like a real cig) and activate with your thumb.

Regardless, it is art.

oh and...I would caution against the tapered end if you are considering it. My favorite way to hit the P18 is w/my thumb pressed against the flat atty end. Feels more comfortable and balanced.

Not sure how well this would work if the end was tapered.

David, the Pelican cases are actually not that expensive. Depending on the size, they will range from $10 (Micro 1010) to $15 (Micro 1040). The pick-and-pluck foam inserts usually run for around $5. Those prices are directly from Pelican. They do have an inquiry form for bulk pricing and customization quotes. Even though I have enough cases for my Precises, I would definitely pick up more if they were Super T badged!!!

Yeah the pelicans are cheap and really well made. They also have a lifetime warranty. The cigar case was $18 on ebay and the brand is castleford. There are tons of cases like that out there. Mine's longer than it needs to be but I can fit two or three batteries and a vapemate bottle of juice. The length allows the p16 to fit in with a mega sized cartomizer. The cigar case fits nicely in my pocket and is great for a day out of the house.

I have a quick question about that cigar case. Did it say which "ring gauge size" it was? I am looking at them and cigars have their own unit of measurement called ring gauge. junquedujour, if you got it online could you please link the website? Thanks

so sorry i didn't respond - i didn't see this until today. a friend of mine found it in a thrift store in arkansas - she knows me well and knew that i would find a use for it long before she would. there are no markings on it so i don't know the ring gauge or the manufacturer. i use it for my p18 AFTER removing the cardboard inserts.
if this helps, it measures:
top cap width is 2 5/8
top cap circumference is 6 1/4"
total length when closed is 7"

No problem, junquedujour. I ended up finding the perfect case. I use it daily to tote my p16, batteries and juice around in my pocket. 48 ring gauge (cigar unit of measurement I guess) fits the PV and vapemate bottles perfectly.

manOman you sure did! those cigar cases are great for precise pv's.

Excellent first mod purchase! These things are so solid... should be the last mod you'll ever need to purchase.

Congrats on your new P18! Sounds like it can even be a helpful wingman at the bar ;-)

This thing is simply amazing. I couldn't ask for a more refined device, as they really don't get any better than this. Sorry for the blurry pictures. I took these with my cellphone.
