This little guy goes everywhere I go. This is the new model with the airflow channels in the top cap. I have a VPX Cartomator with the same channel on the bottom cap of it. By manipulating it's position in reference to the one on the P+ I have a decent amount of control over how much air I get. The wrap is a few feet of 550 cord I had. I took the internal threads of the 550 cord out so it would lay flat and it works great. The small ridge at the top provides a nice lip to rest my thumb when depressing the bottom switch and the wrap itself protects the finish of my P+. I'm still currently only using Boge LR carto's kicked ATM because I haven't found quite what I want in a rebuildable. The DID looks good but I am an Engineer and I can't have a device I can't lay down. Just not practical. I've been looking at the reactor tank but I'm hesitant to spend another 65 bucks on something that's reliant on $8 atties that I can't rebuild myself. I don't seem to have too many problems with my Kick. It comes in and out of the P+ pretty easily and as long as I keep my bottom button clean, it fires 95% of the time for me. You can see the o-ring just under the top cap in this pic. I used a black one and it goes well in my eyes with everything else on her so I'm not to upset that I'm not one of the lucky ones who can close their P+500 with a Kick all the way down. Thanks Dave for a great mod!:thumb:

Vap,

I'm currenty using the small o-ring and no washers on the neg contact. If I screw the cap as tight as I can I am still about a mm short of being fully closed. I had a slightly smaller Kick but had to send it in for repairs and that got me down to maybe .5 mm shy of fully closed but even then it looked better with an oring under the top cap. It's not too much of a biggie for me so I can't complain.

Have you tried different O-rings inside the tube?

Different brand batteries have slightly different specs... Are you using AW IMR batts?
