The Pro-Vex, The Vex and the Centauri will all enjoy the full range of options we are known for. The caps on all these models will be available in Brushed, Satin and Polished. Initially tubes will be limited to PETG or color Polycarbonate on the 22mm models. We may have 22mm flame polished Pyrex or Borosilicate tubes available by release date, but I don't want to delay shipping if they are late. If they are definitely going to be in before release date, we will give pre-order buyers the option to purchase one at 25% off and it will be included in your order installed, with the original tube included separately.
The cost of beauty...Well beauty doesn't come cheap! These are quite possibly the finest tank ever made. They are built from 316LVM Surgical Stainless to retain amazing strength on the thin part of the "skirt". They are milled and machined on a 6-axis machine that costs about $40 a minute to run. There are subtle details machined into these caps that the eye doesn't even register until you stare at it for hours. The cap is not a cylinder...it tapers slightly inward to make a flush line with the tube. A skirt on a Provari, when done right, as ours is...perfectly meets the ProVari body and forms an airtight seal!......But that cuts off all airflow to the tank! We created small vent holes hidden in 3 of the teardrops to make it breathe perfectly. So it is pricey...I know..But we do spend $200 for our devices and this is about as close to "device quality" that any carto tank will ever approach!
