That's Right!

I got my first REO (mini, polished aluminum) yesterday and I am absolutely blown away.

I received it in a trade with PineappleDan, along with some AW IMRs and a an LR 306 atty. I haven't used a 306 in months and traded away my Canon tip, so I have this chincy little shorty one.

This thing vapes like a beast. I'm still getting used to how much I need to squonk, but I am in heaven now. The finish on this thing is better than my bathroom mirror and I love how easy the button is to use. I can't wait for my Grand to come in now so I can compare them. I also ordered a ton of atties to try.

I tried some 306 cartos that I accidentally bought, and they really don't perform well at all. I don't know if anyone else has ever used these things. They don't accept and drip tips and though the vape well, they don't hold juice properly and I can't get them working like regular Boges in the REO.

Anywho, you'll be hearing from me all the time now, I am beyond impressed with the REO line...

I mean this in the most hetero way possible: that is one handsome unit, man.

Welcome to REOville!

hahaha, thanks dude.

Thanks everybody. I am more in love with my REO every day. I swapped out the LR 306 for an Joye LR 510...I'm drooling. Now if my new juices would hurry up and get here, I could truly be in heaven.

I do have a question about the button though. It looks like the metal part (that makes contact with my battery) is very bent and dented. I bought this one used and I'm not sure if it is the way it was made or not. I have noticed that about every 10 or so hits, it won't fire and I'll have to release the button and press it again.

I am an insane chain vaper though, and I know other mods had a hard time keeping up with me so this might be the case too.

Any thoughts?

That is how it looks. Bends down into a very sharp point, you should be able to feel it. Because it is wholly mechanical and the circuit is completed by that point touching the positive nipple of the battery, any oxidation can interfere with the current. The best thing to do is to clean the firing pin with a Qtip dipped in alcohol and add a bit of noalox (an anti-oxidant) to the tip. Rob ships a little baggie of noalox with the new mods. If you bought it used, and don't have any, you can wait until your Grand arrives, or buy a lifetime supply for $5 at Home Depot. :)

I had purchased about 6 of the leading bottom feed mods, and ended up not really liking any of them, a couple have not even been used at all because of the poor experience I had with the others....not going to mention the mods by name we all know who makes them...LOL I finally broke down and bout a REO Grande...black and silver. Ok....maybe there is a difference in one bottom feed mod over another....because I absolutely fell in love with my REO....It actually worked as it was supposed to, unlike several of the others....I use my REO often, and have enjoyed the mod a lot. I went from a bottom feed hater to a bottom feed lover in a heart beat...Love My Reo
