What's up everyone!?

So after smoking for about 7 years...I finally made the plunge in to vaping...and am SOOO excited I did it. Been doing it about a week and never want to go back.

However, I am super dissappointed in my first starter kits.

First...a Cigirex starter kit from a local tobacco shop...but the prices were outrageous! ($30 for a 5 pack of cartridges?!?!)

Next, an E9 kit from (edit: I guess a place I can't mention?) I must admit, I kind of hate these...it's hard to puff, the vape is iffy, and the flavors are pretty bad...but the customizability of the cigarettes and amount of flavors really makes me want to keep trying these.

I've read a lot on here...but I must admit, I am TOTALLY lost...any suggestions for someone who is looking for an attractive slick 2-piece auto with lots of flavors in pre-filled carts. Is what I desire impossible? Haha...should I go a different route? Would also love a nice looking PCC (which e-cig DEFINITELY doesn't have)

I've been thinking about going with Volcano, starting with the 2 piece...then eventually moving to the eGo looking one (Am I saying this right? lol)...but they seem kind of expensive, and would like to know if they are really worth it before I take the dive.

I appreciate any help and I look forward to learning a lot and being a part of this community for a long time!

Thanks guys! I'm thinking I'm going to suck it up take my E9 investment as a loss. :(

This Volt is looking really awesome, and that PCC looks awesome...I might even start with a pro starter and a sampler pack of carts. (Price still cheaper then a carton of cigarettes here in Connecticut)

They have a new pcc that really looks great too, although it just came out the other day. It is the "mega" pcc. If you have specific questions of the volt, go to the Volt thread. A lot of nice people there to answer your questions.

I had to suck it up and take my SafeCig Micro, SafeCig Original, 21st Century, and V2 as a lose...I still have them laying around, but that's about it lol.

I look at it this way.. I used to pay a small fortune for my analogs and just burned them up. Talk about a loss. At least our starter kits leave us with something we can pick up, look at and remember that this little device was what started us down this road to no more analogs.

Urgh... I'm dreading my first buy, no matter what it may ultimately be.

Seems different brands go with different people; what isn't satisfying to one as a newbie will be to another sigh... wonder if it depends on what kind of smoker one was, like if you were a deep inhaler, or light, if you took the smoke out after every drag, or just let it hang off your mouth...

Questions questions...

:D

An eGo-T or Riva with Boge 2.0 cartomizers is a solution that gives you long battery life and the ability to use low resistance cartos. The limitation with slim batteries is that they can't provide enough sustained current flow to the coil to give you the best vaping experience. Low resistance at 3.4v or 3.7v makes a huge difference in flavor and vapor.

Once you get used to the slightly larger batteries (which feel absolutely normal in a week) you will wonder why you put up with a cigarette sized ecig.

I like the way you think! I totally agree, b. This path may be confusing at first...but it's somewhat exciting.

I feel like the rush of soon trying a new way to/type of vape may be surpassing my nicotine addiction.

Sure! And welcome!! Tell us more about yourself so we can better assist you. What brand did you smoke? How many per day? Are you looking for something that looks like a cigarette or are you not caring about size and looks and going for something you can puff of all day and don't have to charge often. The more you tell us about what you think you may like the better for us to assist you.

Actually i think i like the idea of tinkering with mods, doing and adding stuff here and there, but afraid that it might be a hassle in the long run. Is there much to do? i don't mind something not cigarette like, good with big, but just wondering if the efluid refilling would get on my nerves in the long run..

Checked out a few so far, eGo seems like a worthwhile investments with available upgrades of sorts, just not sure what upgrade does what. Only thing i'm sure so far is the difference between manual and auto battery, manual seems more stable than the auto battery mechanism..

Thanks in advance!
